When Peri introduces himself, he says “I changed my name to Peri, LIKE Periwinkle”, which may imply that he just got the idea for the name Peri from the word Periwinkle. He doesn’t say “I changed my name to Peri SHORT FOR Periwinkle”, and I don’t think there are any other scenes where he’s called Periwinkle from what I can remember. I don’t know if this has been discussed before, but I’ve been thinking about this for days and it’s driving me nuts.

Similar to the Channel Chasers parodying different shows, there would be parodies of different video games that make a ton of references and change the name. I love the idea of this episode parodying shows, and I think this would be a fun discussion! A few I have in mind are:
Supreme Marco Pals (Super Mario Bros)
Climactic Chronicles (Final Fantasy)
Speedy O'Possum (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Giga Guy (Mega Man)
The Mystery of Sonia (The Legend of Zelda)

The sole rule is : It cannot be in relation to Dev getting Peri back/Dev and Hazel re-patching their freinship, as that's too easy and everyone wants that and I'm sure if ANW got a s2 that would def happen regardless

So I was looking back at some characters and realized that there are way too many similarities between these three. This has got me wondering:

Accessories & Facial hair:

• Both Norm and Chip have the same gold hoop earring along with facial hair/stubbles.

Musical Talents:

• Norm likes singing which we can obviously tell by his musical numbers in episodes like "Fairy Idol". Chip also has a passion for singing which is his whole career.

Hatred Formula:

• Norm and Crocker share a hatred for Timmy, Chip does not. You know what they say; "Two wrongs make a right".

Eye Color Math:

• Crocker and Chip share the same hair color though that alone isn't enough evidence, but if you mix Crocker's and Norm's eye color you get a kind of a dark blue. Lighten that up a bit and you've got Chip's light blue.

Crocker & Chip parallel:

• Being polar opposites on the surface Crocker and Chip have lots of things in common. (Both of them once being targeted by Vicky, physical anomalies like Chip having a blinding smile and Crocker having his ears located on his neck).

Unknown Parents:

• We have never seen Chip's parents on screen.

Timelines:

• Sure Norm is a genie who's been trapped in that lamp for who knows how long while Chip is a modern day pop star, but who says Norm didn't bend time just a bit?

Is this canon? No. A good theory? I have no idea. What do you guys think?

I hear people throw this question around sometimes. Some people claim it's because Timmy is selfish, but I don't think that's it.
The real reason seems obvious to me. If a disease vanished all at once, people would suspect something. It would give away the existence of magic, and Cosmo and Wanda would have to go away forever. We've seen plenty of times when Timmy tries to do good things with his wishes, and they end up backfiring. This could easily have consequences that no one can predict.

I know it’s probably technically a bit more since Spotify takes a bit to update, but I thought it was cool that Spotify says it has exactly 10,000. Also Proud of My Son is pretty popular right now, which is always fun to see (I streamed it over 600 times back in 2024).

I really wish "the boy fairy has the baby" was never established. Ignoring my personal dislike of Mpreg, Cosmo being pregnant isn't that funny. It's just the typical pregnancy cliches, but with a man instead of a woman. That's the whole joke.

I think there could have been more comedic possibilities if Wanda were the pregnant one. Timmy and Cosmo handle the stress of getting ready for the baby while the smartest person in the room is essentially incapacitated could make for some pretty good material. You could probably still do some of the cravings and mood swings jokes, but it would be a lot funnier coming from Wanda because she'd be out of her element.

A few months ago I tried drawing Hazel, but I didn't like how it turned out and stopped after the head. Now I added some more details to her head and added the rest of her body. Let's hope A New Wish gets renewed for more seasons!!

my streaming service only has seasons 7, 9 and 10, so I've only seen some random season 7 episodes (and "Certifiable Super Sitter" from season 10). I think season 7 has been pretty funny, but I've been wondering: How good is season 7 compared to the rest of the show? Are the older episodes better and are there any season 7 episodes that are as good as them?

btw my favorite episode so far has probably been Lights Out and my least favorite would probably be Squirrely-Puffs. I've mostly just picked random episodes that seem interesting, I should probably watch the episodes in order lol

It would have been cool if they hadn’t messed up the series when Chloe was introduced, or for the fact that the rules were broken in the last image as it looked like they ran out of ideas. So, let’s make up a way how they could at least made the series more tolerable with Chloe.
