I had an idea for a kind of lich/arch necromancer character who i based on Nagash of warhammer fantasy fame. He would be a the very first human to ever practice necromancy and his key trait is his patience. He's waited several thousand years to turn the world into an army of his personal undead servants and he can wait a few thousand more. He provides a unique challenge as he isn't a ghost he's a lich. It's actually tuck who defeats him, the guy is something of a mage supmacist and given he's been around since prehistory he regards the entire concept of technology as a fad and a poor man's imitation of true magical power. One of his more unique abilities is his ablity to mind control ghosts being a necromancer after all. Forcing his will on box ghost was easy for him and since Danny is only partially a ghost he can't full control him but he can still mess with him by creating illusions and other mind games. As I said tuck defeats him by taking advantage of his dnd knowledge and shattering the first necromancers phycarty which is actually the skull like jewel that tops his wizard staff and the defeated monster swears vengeance upon Tucker and his entire line.

I'm starting a new hand-drawn fanart series for Danny Phantom that expands his origin story as described in the iconic theme song! This picture takes place 10 years ago when Danny was only 5 years old. I depict little Danny encountering his first ghost that's haunting his family's house while he was dressed up and pretending to be an astronaut with a toy space shuttle.

Summary:
Sam Manson left Amity Park to become someone new. A college graduation later, She came back chasing a story and found herself chasing something else entirely: a stranger who treats her proximity as a death sentence, a friendship that feels like déjà vu, a gap in her own memory shaped exactly like a person.
He knows exactly what she's circling. He's spent four years making sure she never would.

For me these things bother me:
"Ghosts can't die/be badly injured"
Skulker has multiple dead ghosts on his island and Dak Dan badly injured a lot of ghosts, like box ghost.
"Ghosts can't age"
Dark Dan and most of the ghost in the ultimate enemy aged, so yes they can age. Not to mention Lunch Box isn't a baby.
"All ghosts are dead humans/animals"
Season 1 comfirms some ghosts are just born in the ghost zone so no not every ghost is something that died on earth. Some ghosts are just originally from the ghost zone. The Observants, Undergrowth, Frostbite and his people make this even more clear. That being said most ghosts are likely dead humans.
This makes me wonder what it was like in the early days in the ghost zone was like when the first dead humans started showing up. Especially if the dead beings out number the ghost zone original ones.
"Ghosts can't change their nature and will always be the same"
Dora changes how she acts. She also kinda contradicts the concept of Obsessions. So yes ghosts can change if they want. To a lesser extent even Johnny and Youngblood disprove this as both are able to be friendly with Danny despite their previous fights.
"Danny's ice powers come out of nowhere with no explanation"
Ghost sense is explained as an extention of his ice powers. Also we see Danny shive when ghost sense is used multiple times including in season 1. Dark Dan's ghost sense also goes low like heat travels and dark Dan has fire powers.
Anyways what misconceptions bother you?

I always dreamed of either a feature-length prequel movie, or a half-hour prequel short film/episode where we get to see an expanded version of Danny Phantom's origin story as described in the original iconic opening theme song! I can even imagine my own movie version playing out exactly as how the theme song describes the story, but with some added elements similar to Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man film from 2002.
