Ditto. Family plan. Weirdly also approaching my 700-day milestone, just like in the video. My 'Streak Society' subsection lists '1 Extra Freeze' in 22 days and 'VIP Status' as activated. No icon control options.

Ask about it on the Duolingo support page. You’ll get an AI response at first, but if you’re persistent with email responses you may get a reply from a person. Seems likes something that super (even on a family plan) should have.

I was missing a feature on the family plan and they helped me out and re-instated it on my account.

It’s worth trying.

I just looked and yes, it’s back. So happy! It wasn’t there when I last looked. Instantly changed it.
Last week, I used the Shortcuts app to make a shortcut for Duolingo so I could put the original icon at the app image so that it would never change again. But I had to leave the original app on my phone so heatstroke Duo was still there and showed everywhere else. Now that image is gone. I also have the widget and just click that every time to get into Duolingo. But I think I’ll leave my shortcut where it is because I can safely say that that will never change. The streak society one might change and I don’t want to risk that. Also, because I always click the widget to get in, I actually forgot I had made a shortcut.

1700 day streak on Android, no option to change sadly. This might actually be the thing to make me give up on Duolingo. It grosses me out.

For the most part, only iOS folks have access to this, and it's not everyone. Some iPhone users have reported having the option before, and now it's gone.

This has been gone for Android users for a while now.
