Greetings! Your mod team has made 3 flairs for you to attach to your posts. So far we have 3 flairs. Advice, Finished Project, and Frog it? .
But we want to make this subreddit as engaging as possible. So we're asking the community.
Do you have an idea for Flairs you'd like to have for your posts?
Let us know and we'll consider some of them!

I made both of these for my entryway and I’m super happy with how they turned out. Made with old sheets, jeans, tshirts, yoga pants, even an old sports bra.

Making this scarf as a gift… I initially only purchased one skein as I had never worked with this yarn before (Bernat Fleece Forever) and then decided to order a second skein to make this scarf I planned to gift to my partner.
I crochet in low light while watching tv so I didn’t even realize until it was complete that the second skein is a completely different color.
I’m so sad 😭

I have wanted to try planned pooling for so long now, but never seen a pattern that gave me that spark to try it.
I recently salvaged this yarn from a blanket I thrifted without a plan for it. Pretty sure it is a standard Red heart, weight 4, 100% acrylic yarn. Decided to just make some samples trying out planned pooling to try the technique for the first time.
I really enjoyed working on the samples but still dont really know what project to use with this technique. Im not really interested in a scarf or blanket. I would be interested in trying to make a wareable out if it though.
Any ideas? Or pattern suggestions?

A while ago, like, almost a year ago, I posted this blanket. Figured I'd show an update on how it's going now that I've decided to start working on it again!
If you would like to see a flag show up, just lmk!

I want to thank everyone with all the sites they suggested when I posted here almost two weeks ago. I saved all of them and listened to everyone's advice.
I have been following Bella Coco's course on line. I did alot more swatches than the two shown here. I found many to be not laying flat or they are not straight on the edges.
So please let me know how I am doing and what I should work on.
And thank you again in advance for any help you can give me.
I was using size 4 yarn and size H/5.00 ergonomic aluminum hook.

Hi all,
Im planning to start on a instagram blog about my crocheting, show some results etc. and I also want to record when i am crocheting for content. What are you tricks? From which angle I should record my hands, what would suggest in terms of light etc.

Hey everyone!
I want to start by saying that I know absolutely nothing about crocheting, or handmade textiles, so I’m hoping someone here can help me. I not even sure this is the correct place, and let me know if it not.
A few years ago, my grandma gave me a crocheted blanket. A few years later, she gave me another one because I loved the first one so much. The second blanket was the last thing she ever made before she passed away, so both of them are incredibly important to me.
I sleep under them ever night (even when it’s way too hot) because it makes me feel close to her. ❤️
The reason I’m posting here is that I’d really like to clean and properly care for them, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it without damaging them.
I’m not sure what materials they’re made from. One is very colorful, and the other is black and white. They’re both quite large:
Colorful blanket: approximately 2 m × 1.8 m
Black and white blanket: approximately 2.5 m × 2.1 m
There is some animal hair stuck in them, as well as a few stains. I have no idea what the stains are or how long they’ve been there. I would really appreciate any advice on how I can safely clean them and what I absolutely should NOT do?
Thank you so much for any advice! These blankets mean a lot to me, so I really want to make sure I take care of them properly. ❤️

Hello everyone,
Now that summer is finished I wanted to share my collection of crochet that i've done throughout the last year, partly due to pleasure and partly because I want to organize it.
Also it's in a way because I may want to create a website for myself to make personalized crochet for people ( not sponsoring as I don't have anything yet finished or done), as I broke up with my girlfriend to whom I did all crochets, but oh well things happen and life goes on.
I'm still very happy of all the crochets I've done, personally and because of what they mean and I wanted to share with everyone to enjoy the community and hear some nice feedback, also just started making a crochet for myself in the first time of the 2 years I've crocheted so that's cool heheh.
Here are all the pieces I've done in the most cronological order I recall :), and of course if anyone wonders, all the persons in the photos have authorized me to publicize them!
Thank you all for the comments if you have any, I'll be very happy to read all of them, and here down below I'll try putting up all the tutorials for every piece made so that people may do them too if they wish so.
- 1st piece ( HAT ) :

- 12th piece ( Sequin poncho )
https://youtu.be/5_LkJ8Y_2_g?si=aua4vRkGAa62A3sO
Yarn is '' Lana Grossa cosmo colour 18 ''
It looks quite hot and itchy, but for what I and my ex felt it's very smooth and feels like you wear nothing, one of mine and her favourites
- 13th and last piece ( Assymetrical rose mesh sweater )
https://youtu.be/CDGRkKqD-ZM?si=6eD2pOvgHBt6X5oF
Yarn is '' Casasol Cotton XL colour Salmon ( This cotton is a little thick and slighty stiff, but behaves well in the final product after water blocking )
And here is all my journey of crochet I have to show, see you in my next upload :).

ust sharing my latest make! 🧶 The flowers are 100% physically handmade by me.
It took me quite a few hours of crocheting and assembling to complete this bouquet. I used 4-ply milk cotton yarn and a 2.0mm hook to get the textures right, especially the brown center of the sunflower.
(Full transparency: I digitally replaced the background to give the photo a better aesthetic, but the crochet bouquet itself is a real physical item I made!).
Would love to hear your thoughts on the warm tones!

It's a bit too small for me, but I still really like it. I tried using the block stitch for the 1st time. I think that I did it correctly based off of the photo on the card (even though I was working in the round instead of in rows).

I liked the way it turned out ♥️ As a Crochet beginner, it felt so good to have completed this..
