This game is what made me buy a PS4. I played it, thought it was way too hard and stopped. I was laid off from my job during COVID and I had absolutely nothing to do. I decided I’d give it another shot. I beat every boss and got the platinum trophy in 2 months.
I don’t think any game has brought me this much joy in my life. Besides maybe The Legend of Dragoon.

It feels good. It feels really viscous and dreamlike because of the frame rate. I think it’s just right and although I would almost certainly play an updated version I think it’s fine the way it is- in fact much better than fine

No, Dark Souls is a Spiritual Successor. It is not and never has been a Sequel.
Armored Core 6 was released 15 years after the last Armored Core game Miyazaki directed, and he didn’t direct another one until he became the president of FromSoftware.
By then, it may as well have been a new IP.

He just might be busy, directing other stuff (DuskBloods).
