Help The dumbest thing in the game.

Post image

This mf is BY FAR the DUMBEST FUCKING THING in the game. 90% of his attacks are UNDODGABLE and have like 3 km of reach. He fucking STUN LOCKS and two shots you. The parry window is almost fucking non existent half of the time. And just to get the Rakuyo they put 2 of them in a cave. Once the second one comes it’s over, you can’t do anything, they just spam launches and instakill you. And before someone says “skill issue” nah fuck you, this is a dumb enemy with dumb design that is difficult for the sake of it and unfair.

If you manage to fight the first guy in the Rakuyo well long enough, you can bring a Bone Shaman Knife to turn them against each other and make that fight a LOT easier.

bloodborne is my favorite game but getting the rakuyo was genuinely one of the most miserable experiences of my life

So worth it though, such a BA weapon

u/macrors Dec 24 '25

Bonus Action weapon?

u/LazzyPizza Dec 24 '25

Bachelor of Arts weapon?

u/Jon_Eagle Dec 25 '25

u/ultimafia Dec 25 '25

Badass Ass weapon

u/HeavenlyDMan Dec 25 '25

honestly to me it wasn’t, tbh i just beat that run and cheated in the rakuyo in the next run to use, no shame

u/PleaseWashHands Dec 24 '25

I stood on the ledge overlooking the area and spammed Blacksky Eye to kill both.

I'm not apologizing for it.

We all must do what we must to persevere even if it means a good ol cheez

Who can hate a good Gouda

Got Beast Cutter whip thing. Upgraded it to +9. Threw knives, Molly cocktails/oil, etc(probably pebbles to by the end, lol) then transformed Beast Cutter’d both from the safety of the little raised up cave exit thing that’s guarded by two Winter Lanterns til I kilt em. Got Rakuyo+10.(Evelyn+10 for obvious reasons) Became “Shabbily Dressed Dude Maria”. No Regerts…

This is extremely accurate. Took me 90 minutes straight to kill them.

u/usernotfoundplstry Dec 24 '25

This is exactly what I do. Still sucks, but makes things much more manageable.

u/QuantumCthulhu Dec 24 '25

I remember I did that, and had a blue elixir, but for some reason it didn’t last long enough, and when it wore off, they both turned around slowly like a cartoon, and both proceeded to chase me around the pillar like a benny hill sketch

You could ledge cheese them in that tunnel at the end of the hamlet if your weapon allows for it. The moonlight sword works well for me. I suggest getting the first one’s attention with a throwing knife (you can aim using the monocle) and proceed from there. Just make sure you can listen to their sound cues so you don’t get uppercut with a giant rusty anchor

This is the only way I've seen someone that isn't a no hit streamer beat this boss. I have to imagine that was the intention for this fight.

u/YouSoundToxic Dec 24 '25

I beat those two without any items and I have to say that it was probably the hardest fight in all of the souls games I played (I platinumed every FromSoft game except demon's souls). I was stuck there for hours and hours. I'm still not over the trauma, I truly hate those sharks.

u/Neckrongonekrypton Dec 24 '25

That’s what I’m saying. Out of the entire game of BB and is DLC

Those sharks were legit the hardest part of that game.

Crazy how far from has come in their enemy and boss design lol.

u/Monkeywrench08 Dec 24 '25

I agree. Even worse than Laurence for me and I HATE fighting Laurence lol

u/youngDway Dec 24 '25

i beat them second try💔 and then on my next play throughs it took me like 5 tries cuz i didn’t know this method

u/GonIsABadFriend Dec 24 '25

First time I beat them I managed to do so on my second or third attempt, no items and got lucky the second one came into the fight after a successful parry on the first. Dodged around until I could kill the first one and managed to beat the second one by the skin of my teeth. On any subsequent NG+ though I could not win without the bone shaman or going hitless (once in NG+3)

u/MafubaBuu Dec 24 '25

Why no demons souls? I just did the plat for it, great game

u/YouSoundToxic Dec 24 '25

Because I sadly don't have a PlayStation (and I'm still hoping for a PC port..)

u/MafubaBuu Dec 24 '25

How did you platinum the rest? Was it on ps4?

Highly reccomend it if you ever get a ps5, I dont see it ever losing its exclusivity. Played it on ps3 a couple years ago after not.plating it for 10 years and that version still holds up

u/B133d_4_u Dec 24 '25

The second one doesn't aggro if you're in the back of the cave, but the first one retains his because he's only scripted to move for rendezvous. By dragging the first guy as far back as you can (and getting the extra room to fight back) and just standing there when he walks away, you can turn the fight into a 1v1 which is much easier to handle, especially when the first guy comes back and still has like 1/3 health.

u/Satin_Cartoon Dec 24 '25

I am doing my first playthrough and this was my immediate instinct about how to handle it when I saw the guy on the ceiling, I immediately went back there and hoped he wouldn't drop down and come join the fray lol.

u/Falafelofagus Dec 24 '25

I struggled for maybe 2 hours there, came back after beating everything else in the game and did them in like 3 tries, no parries, no items, just smack with big sword.

u/RhymesWithTaco Dec 24 '25

Or, just use the monocular to free aim and start the well fight when you’re still on the ledge. Just make sure your stocked up on all consumables and the boom hammer makes it easier when you’re still on do the explosion hit. Just make sure to watch out because some of the attacks can still reach you. This is what I always do.

u/ShadowLoke9 Dec 25 '25

My own tactic is taking the Holy Moonlight Sword and repeatedly backstabbing the ever loving shit out of the one that wanders around. It's not foolproof, but there's something cathartic about consistently shoving that sword through its back. Usually the second one does come, but the first is one or two hit and then it's dealing with jumpy Mc-jumppants McGee

u/gen-xtagcy Dec 24 '25

Scoring a hit with Shamans Bon Blade and living thru it is not a given

u/thineholyhandgrenade Dec 24 '25

Alternatively you can proceed on your merry way until you reach that part in the caverns right near brain aneurysm lady. Can see that 2nd mofo just chilling on the ceiling.

Time for ranged attack

u/Snoo-4878 Dec 25 '25

Boom hammer, go in the well with the elevator, sit at the edge and chip away at both

u/[deleted] Dec 25 '25

Exactly what I did 😭

u/star_platnm Dec 25 '25

Spent a whole evening trying to get that fuckass weapon
