First Shave With a DE Razor

Post image

I just received my Henson AL13 today and I'm already a big fan. The razor has the angle already built in, so it was fairly easy to get started with shaving. Very little irritation and my head and neck are quite smooth. Does anyone else use a DE razor for head shaving and if you do, what do you use?

Looks great! The beard and stache go well with the shaved head.

I've been a DE safety razor use for a few months now. A bit of a learning curve at first but now very happy with the experience and the result. Definitely a nice close, smooth shave. I use a shaving gel and sometimes a bit of aftershave.

I've been using double edged razors for years. I switched to the Henson almost a year ago and it truly is better than other safety razors out there.

If you use a rotary shaver it basically gives as close as a shave

I have a Philips head shaver for when I'm in a hurry. Otherwise, I prefer a smooth shave.
