Mate, you left the fence behind a long time ago. Shave it off, if you don’t like it you can grow it back but at least try going bald and see how you feel.
No, you should hold onto it for several several, several, several, several more years, always struggling with your confidence, wondering if anyone else sees the obvious thinning, having a slight breeze be your main enemy, and living in constant doubt of yourself.
I highly recommend that you take the plunge. It’s going to look so much better and after you get past the initial shock, you’ll walk around with a confidence that you haven’t felt since the day before you first noticed thinning all those years ago.

I walk with a guy at work. We're both pretty much bald. I rock a #1 shave. He has a decent crown with a giant spot on back. He's constantly adjusting the rest of his hair exactly how he needs to. I feel sad for him. With mine being as short as it is, I couldn't adjust it if I wanted to. It is what it is. In my mind better not to worry about it then fret over it constantly.
If there's some way to use an, IDK skin conditioner or beard oil or ?? I think some length on that beard plus full cue ball would accentuate your chin plus play up your eyes really nicely. They gotta make products for beard issues right?
Respectfully my guy we're the same age but i shaved mine 10 years ago and so you look far older than me. Shave it clean and get a bit of stubble and you'll be chillin
Grow a beard, then shave the head! The new facial hair will offset the loss of the head hair and also prevent you looking like a new born baby in glasses.
The hair on the sides of your head overpower the small amount of hair remaining on top. At least get some type of fade haircut to bring the sides way down. But the larger truth is that you should shave it

It’s time to shave it off. I also think you have a good face shape for a nice beard if you can grow one. Either way, bald is beautiful!
Although I had brown hair my beard was always ginger. Now it has mainly grey white and some brown/ginger and I love it! Embrace it and rock it, I say.
The main trick is keeping it tidy and shaped, don’t let it get all crazy and scraggly. A good beard shampoo, oil/butter/cream goes a long way too.
You might as well shave it all off because you are currently rocking a balding pattern. That will still be true if you buzz it. Dive in the pool instead of the tip-toe method.
From top and sides it isn't really a problem but from the front it is pretty clear, I suggest buzz cut and see how you feel about it. You can always grow it back if you don't like it.

Technically you’ve fallen off the fence into baldness. Those lovely eyes and a wee bit of scruff with a bald head and you’ll go from nice looking to rawr.
