Need advice - post abortion sex

i just had an MA on August 25&26 and it was the worst thing. Well sure enough, my boyfriend and I were both feeling frisky especially not being able to have sex for a few and we had sex on September 5, unprotected. He did not cum inside but I’m pretty sure some of it dropped on my vagina. We cleaned it up immediately. I know I’m an idiot and feel very regretful, what are my chances of getting pregnant again? I don’t want to get another abortion.

you can get pregnant pretty soon after an abortion, from what i’ve read online. if you’re not willing to have a child and don’t want to get an abortion, start using birth control or tell your boyfriend to wrap it.

Any time you have unprotected sex, there is a risk of pregnancy, but the risk is low with successful withdrawal. You're still within the timeframe to use emergency contraception.

Tell your man to wrap it up. If you get pregnant again it shouldn’t be on you to have to make the decision to keep it or not.. OR he has a winge cause he’s “not ready” but won’t wrap his dick.

Sounds like a great time to get a consultation on birth control so that you can go forward feeling very free and very easy around sex with your boyfriend. You deserve to feel really good in sex, and often that means feeling really safe from future surprise pregnancy. This might mean that you get an IUD or go on the pill, or it might mean that your bf takes responsibility over using a condom EVERY SINGLE TIME so that you don't have to think about it -- but only you and he know if the trust is there for that birth control plan.

Regardless, let this be the reminder you need that you're SO WORTH protecting from pregnancy while also being SO WORTHY of pleasure in sex.

It's not too late to take a plan B, although the longer you wait the less effective it is. I would go buy and take one, then decide how you will protect yourself before next time happens.

ella or the copper IUD give people a window of 5 days! Though please be aware that you should never take Plan B AND ella, as they cancel each other out.
