Used to be a Wawa How do I get transferred even out of region
My boss is a total negative Nancy and especially doesnāt like me , brings the whole place down because of his negativity. He should not be in a position of authority because he does not know how to handle it. I used to love my job genuinely Iāve moved up quick to TS in a year , he asked me how I got everything done and I said Iām the best jokingly with a smile in front of my work friends they chuckled and smiled and he just goes āNoā . Wi used to genuinely love my job I was so excited that I was willing to make it my career ! Iām 27 and smart with mechanics and I used to be a union electrician. not only that but heās interfering with my hours now because he simply does not like me. How can I transfer preferably closer to my house which might be out of region. This store used to be a Wawa now itās a place for my GM to take out his frustrations about his past 6 failed marriages. I donāt want to work around that negativity.

Ask other Associates Wrist Pain
Hi geese, I enjoy working at Wawa so much but it kills my wrists so badly. I've been using wrist braces whenever I'm off work to help with the pain. Does anyone have any secrets to keeping your wrists healthy while working this job? I think it's the repeated grabbing/pinching motions while doing deli for hours that are causing the strain, but I don't know.

Discussion Just a couple months!
Iām sure employees hate making them at a point but Gobbler Bowls are coming! They are good made at home but nothing beats the WaWa version!
Employee Experience Thinking of quitting
Been here for 3 months, almost 4, but I'm thinking of quitting already
Most of my coworkers like me, and they want to cross-train me, but I'm still getting comfortable on register, so I don't think I'm ready yet ... but I feel like I won't be working here long enough to feel ready, between quitting and... well,
I watched someone get fired on their 2 weeks
I watched a beloved manager get fired out of the blue
I watched my GM (who I really liked) get fired very abruptly, who had worked... 15 years? with Wawa
I feel like... if they'd fire the GM without batting an eye, they'd fire me without hesitation
I've been drowning between my college classes and this job, and I requested less hours 2 days ago,
but I had to call out today because I didn't get any sleep... & I need the rest because they've been scheduling me for 30-35 hours a week (I'm part-time balancing this between pre-med) & the new GM just seemed so callous... I think any other of our managers would've been a bit empathetic, so I'm used to being met with kindness first, but I don't think I'll be getting it with this GM,
so as a result, I'm thinking of quitting again. I've been thinking about it constantly for the past 2 weeks, and so I settled on requesting reduced hours so I have time to do my homework, but now I just feel like the GM hates me because I've been giving her all these different little scheduling updates + NOW I'm requesting less hours + NOW I'm calling out because I couldn't sleep...
I'm so stressed out over this new GM & I have nobody's phone number because everyone I had contact with either quit or got fired (in the span of 3 months!!!) and I just feel so nervous like I'm next and I hate it and I just want to quit before they fire me because I'm stressed out of my mind over this deadbeat job. I don't even need the money, I just wanted the experience...

Discussion Re-Hire eligibility?
I was fired shortly after coming back from my LOA, there was a huge mis communication with me my agm and the loa dept. There was a day I couldnāt come in and was reported on a day I came in late rather then the day I was actually off. Of course I didnāt have a leg or chance to stand on. Really my question is if I put in an application will it kick it out if I am banned? I miss the work as crazy as it sounds I enjoyed doing what I knew how to do.

Openings and Closings Update: Sheetz Goes on Offensive with Plan to Open Store Across from Wawa in Downingtown
UPDATE: September 2026 ā September 1 came and went with no Sheetz across from the Wawa near Downingtown. The project is still moving, just not as fast as the company first promised.
The convenience store and gas station chain plans to redevelop a shuttered Rite Aid inĀ Downingtown, diagonally across from the Wawa at the intersection of East Lincoln Highway and Bondsville Road.

Customer Experience Wawa now vs 15 years ago?
I went to one of the new Tennessee Wawas and I noticed some changes from what I remember. I grew up in South Jersey with 10 plus Wawas within 5 miles of me. Some were super Wawas with the gas but most were not.
Some things I noticed:
The menu selection no longer has the whole BLT hoagie section, which was my favorite. There is a regular BLT option but not the big ham, turkey BLT that was awesome. They also didn't have the hot beef sandwich that was my other go-to. The one with salty beef and gravy, covered in whatever you wanted.
No more deli meats? I guess you can no longer order a pound of roast beef by itself?
The roll is a different? This is probably the worst of it. The roll was off. It didn't seem like an amaroso roll, unless it's changed. It felt more like a cheap gas station roll unfortunately.
I also felt they were very light on the veggies. My sandwich was so thin even though I picked all of them.
I ordered an Italian and some other things.
I kind of hyped it up to people who had never been to Wawa before, but unfortunately it wasn't that great. It didn't seem that fresh, and the roll was meh. The only positive is I got my hands on some herrs chips - and that it smelt like a Wawa, which almost made me cry.
Sorry Wawa. The roll change isn't cool and it might actually put you out of business in Tennessee. No one I knew was impressed. They called it gas station food - and after months of telling people Wawa isn't really a gas station, the food didn't hold up.
And adding - bring back the 2 foot! What is wrong with you? Why would you get rid of the 2 foot hoagie. Every place I ever worked at would get tons of those.
What else is different? Thanks.

Ask other Associates Payroll question
So iām in a little bit of a dilemma. So I was getting paid by paper check for a while and I recently changed to direct diposit.
The problem is the paper I was given with my banking details had the wrong routing number. So this week i didnāt receive a deposit or check.
I just changed my payroll election to the right account on sunday 9/06. Will I get a deposit or check this week? or will it get deposited to that wrong account again. And iām not really worried about getting my last weeks pay back but it is annoying. So if anyone had an answer on what I could about that also that would be greatly appreciated.

Product Question Did Wawa discontinue their pre-made breakfast burritos?
There was a golden age of the Wawa breakfast burrito many years ago, when you would walk in and they had:
- The sausage ones with a red label
- The bacon ones with the blue label
- The veggie ones with the yellow label (I really miss these)
Then, they stopped doing the bacon and veggie ones and just stuck to sausage.
Last month, I noticed the burritos stopped at my local Wawa. It is an old and small one, so I thought they were just short-staffed. But now that I have been to several Wawas during breakfast time in multiple states, and noticed the pre-made burritos have pretty much disappeared.
Anyway, I am finding myself going to McDonald's now, and they are also cheaper.
Pretty bummed, but wanted to see if others noticed this - pretty much in Bucks, PA and Mercer County NJ.

Discussion The no earbuds bs
Whoever decided to rat out people wearing earbuds under their bandana needs to rot in the bottom pits of hell
This place is actually more strict than the United States military, you have less government overreach bombing hospitals than you do in wawa

Ask other Associates School benefit question
Hey guys, Iām enrolled in SNHU for October and I found out a month ago that theyāre a partner with EDASSIST, so they do 15% off of tuition. Has anyone used the discount for any schools? If so how do I access that? The application is asking for cost of classes so I think thatās for the $5k benefit, no? Any input or advice here would be greatly appreciated, Iām not even sure who to reach out to for this! Thank you in advance!

Employee Experience Pump numbers, a rant
I cannot believe the amount of people who come in and tell me one number, and are wrong and then come back in to yell at me for putting their gas on the wrong pump!! I will literally repeat it 3 different ways in order to confirm the number and they will still come back and be like ' I SAID 12, NOT 5!' Sir, those numbers dont even sound the same, this is not on me. I've also been yelled at for treating a customer like a child and being told I need to learn how to talk to people bc ' Don't you think i know what pump Im on!!'
The reason for this rant?? A lady, like 2 weeks ago couldn't figure out the pump, hung it up, i gave her receipt showing zero was charged. My Mgr went out to figure out...surprise surprise shes an idiot who doesnt know how to use said pump. Whatever, over and done with, right? Nope, she came in yesterday telling me I put her money on the wrong pump that day, she still got charged, I dont know what i am doing...blah blah blah...But you waited 2 weeks to say something? So my.mgr like refunded her or whatever, dont know, dont care and she came in today. 5 foot rule dammit, so I say Good morning and she on her phone talking about " this bitch acting a friendly, when she did me dirty, I am not going to get her ruin my day!' It is my job, trust me when I say if I didnt have to greet you, I damn well wouldnt!!

Discussion planograms
what is wawaās obsession with putting things to planogram in food service? it feels like lately they want us to do so many ridiculous things for the sake of keeping things to planogram and itās been overwhelming at least for me. i think anything related to food service should be tailored to each storeās individual needs and not promote forced uniformity. i even heard a rumor that the fall menu will have all 4 soups on and it will be mandated that it is put to planogram. idk most days at work feel like a struggle now because of all these sudden changes. i think planograms are better suited for the retail part of wawa and not food service but thatās just me š¤·āāļø
