hi friends, i’m in town visiting your beautiful campus this week. i’m considering applying to KU for their masters program in latin american and caribbean studies. i majored in spanish in undergrad and i’m thinking about continuing my academia journey, and i was really drawn in by their indigenous language options. does anyone have any info on what that program is like? or what KU is like as a grad student in general? i’m from out of state (washington) and my undergrad college had ocean and no greek life so i’m curious to see if anyone has any input! thanks!

I’m a freshman living on campus with way too much time on my hands and literally no friends.

The KU website isn’t really helping as I’m mostly seeing stuff like sales club and real estate club.

The more fun clubs I see seem to be more for people that are serious about the subject, like the painting club and textiles club. What are some casual clubs or other organizations just for fun, where I’m not expected to know exactly what I’m doing?

My question is for next weeks game when should I show up to the gates to guarantee entry I have my combo pass ticket already this will be my first border war as a KU student so really want to make sure I can get in.

Can someone please explain how obtaining your football tickets actually works? My email says Group 1 opens up at 9 tomorrow but doesn’t say what to actually do to get the tickets. Does another email show up with further instructions? I’m mystified as to why they can’t just put the steps somewhere.

She would have met him either at KU or in upstate New York in the mid to late 70's. She may have met him in England when she studied abroad in the mid to late 70's.

I was told that they were going to get married, but when my mom came back to the states she made the difficult decision to break things off with Rick because her terrible father had associations with the KKK and were threatening her and her man because he is African American or mixed race or European or something like that.

As a senior in high school on the college hunt, I have been avoiding looking at more southern state schools since I hear a lot of tails how the Greek Life and overall culture isn't very rich in a more alternative or 'self-expressive' scene. I'm sure there isn't any high-school movie style bullying but I was curious if the school had a good sized alternative student body.
