So I think the hen had the snakes head pinned but it had wrapped itself around her leg, I think that's why she was also sorta smothering the snake, maybe she was trying to pin it down or something.
I was about to say this. Chickens are legit dumb AF. Getting them to understand even the most basic things like "the food is right there" is a challenge.
Unless it's anything more than it being a word referred to those who are mentally challenged then I'm well aware of the nature of it.
While there are people who definitely use it in a derogatory manner to cut at others in some vile and unpleasant ways, there are also those that don't and merely use it as any other word of emphasis about ignorance to some degree.
In other words... it's not about degrading or belittling the differently abled any more than the #FamilyFriendly society-acceptable words do that communicate the same thing, like dumb or stupid. It only disparages the perceived group of people if you interpret it that way, because quite honestly, they're not on people's mind when using it.
It's fine if you still disagree, but you can't just ignore people because you don't know how to address their points or want to engage in critical thinking.
No way you’re going to say someone is showing their ignorance immediately after saying “mentally challenged” because that’s also outdated and derogatory.
Get your vocabulary checked before you start judging people for theirs.

I literally saw the tail and thought "is that a snake? Nah, can't be. Why would there be a snake?"
