Hello, where I am actually thinking of streaming soon.And I do have a question about PayPal. I am receiving disability checks and i am afraid set up paypal account , it will push me over. Is PayPal mandatory to Have set up for streaming or Is it okay to not have paypal? Its kinda one of those things i noticed when going through tutorials on how to set up for a stream. Any advice is appreciated

So I have gotten the obs for twitch and messing with the inside of it. But I can’t get it to work with a game up and it has a lot of echo to it. And any game I’ve tried with it so far has stayed on the black screen until I take down OBS, is there something I am missing or messing up (totally would not be shocked if that’s the case) TIA

I'm a Twitch DJ for more than a year now and am excited for this feature being added for me, but i wouldn't have the slightest idea what would be clip-worthy since i'm a mute DJ with no cam, and for gaming streamers it's more obvious what people will clip.

Hey, so back in 2024ish, I had Twitch studio and was just starting off my streaming phase. I'm getting back into it now and realized I had added a stream background image that appears when I end stream, and I really, really hate it as it's embarrassing. Is there any possible way to remove it? Or am I stuck with a deeply embarrassing image on my stream 😭

I have set OBS Limiter to -12dB (yellow zone) and in recording: it sounded good, but my stream was clipping. What can I do to prevent clipping?
OBS Settings:
3-band EQ: high, mid, and low are maxed out
Output Gain: maxed out
Compressor: -18dB

Peace Equalizer Settings: 59dB (green number at top right of graph), all Q factors at .5, PreAmp at -30dB
0Hz to 200Hz: -10dB
200Hz to 2kHz: 25dB
2kHz to 20kHz: -10dB

Hey guys! Newbie live gamer here, please take it easy on me. I desperately wanna get into the community but I’m having trouble getting my setup working. I’m on a Legion Go 2 in console mode, and am trying to use OBS to capture my game audio plus my BT mic audio together. It’s not working. I can get game audio, and I can get a heavy feedback internal mic audio. Not anything balanced or isolated. Any pointers or advice? Any other apps I should try?

Am I insane or did frankerface or bttv used to allow you to see when someone followed the streamer you are watching when you viewed their identity card? Is there a way to do that again?

Looking for a budget capture card to stream PS5 games. I only need to stream it on 1080p60. I also live outside US so elgato products are more expensive so if you guys can recommend other brands that'd be nice.

I tried relinking and unlinking. Switching to a whole new browser incognito everything and stupid twitch isnt recognizing my obvious prime account which ive had for over a week now and it’s annoying as hell. I just want to enjoy prime and stop seeing stupid ads man

hello! I have done 2 irl streams previously and it was just through the twitch app. my biggest complaint about the twitch app is you can't see any events like if someone subs or sends bits or starts a hype train. i've been told by multiple people that because I have an iphone, Moblin is the best, however I cannot get the alerts to show up when testing with streamelements alerts. is this the best app for what I am trying to achieve? I hope my question makes sense. I will have my laptop with me for streamerbot but I don't think that will help with anything else. Thank you!

Anyone here stream AND game from a laptop? I just got a mid-tier laptop for work because Im on the road a lot and here are some of its specs:

- Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX

- 32GB Ram

- 5070ti

- 1TB m.2

What are some must-have programs to be able to stream properly? I know i can add a second monitor, so I will definitely be doing that to make the layout more manageable on my end.

Ive never streamed before, and im not all that tech savvy. Most stuff i will look up on youtube, but what are your essentials for getting started?

I use night bot during my streams. Or well, i used to. I liked using it to play song requests and music. But starting a few years ago, it started bugging out. Now it pulls random songs from sound cloud and wont take requests. When i try to delete the queue, it simply refreshes a new queue. Im not sure what happened or how to fix it.

Has anyone had this happen before?

This is getting absurd. There must be something that I'm not getting, because I have tried multiple adapters, and none of them fit. All of these adapters are 9/16", which is 1/16th too small. I am losing my shit here. I know the camera angles in the pictures are not the best, but the Blue Yeti is 5/8" exact, and the two Camvate adapters actually ended up being 9/16th and just fall out. It is a moderately snug fit, but that is just the friction of them being pressed together, the threads don't actually mesh.

okay so im trying to figure out how i can hear the soundboard ive added as its being played, im using a virtual mic (called line 1 or sumn like that) and the sounds are playing its just i also wanna be able to hear it, im sorry english is horrid but if you need me to clarify i can.

After contributing 100+ bits to multiple hype trains, I get the "share your emote prompt" at the bottom but the emote space is blank. No emote is actually unlocked and nothing shows up in notifications. This been happening for over a month now on Android's mobile app.

Got annoyed so contacted support and they just gave me a cop out answer of "you unlocked all available emotes"... Yea right 🙄

I've noticed this going on for me. Earnings not updating the number and such, or just a random delay. Simply curious if there was some site update that went on, or just me.
