Any "off-the-beaten-path" tourist site. Enjoyable only because few people go there. As soon as a place gets "discovered" and becomes popular, everything goes downhill.

Whatever algorithmic slop curse that makes songs popular on tiktok or reels or whatever short form social media content. Where is the memo that states when a song should be the "one" for that week, and when it ends? Maybe it's not completely relevant to the question, but it reminded me of this annoying phenomenon.

Almost everything.

As soon as it gets popular enough, they have to figure out how to monetize it. Then, Pirate Equity usually gets involved to squeeze as much profit out of it as possible, which inevitably leads to the quality suffering. Examples include: fast food, veterinary care, healthcare, retail stores, pharmacies.

Most new music from artists, when they reach the size of playing arenas and stadiums. To get to that level, you usually have to actively make your sound more appealing to the masses, which inevitably leads to it being more sanitized and lacking edge. There are very few artists who buck this trend.
