I'm talking about the kids? Thats why its popular, even if it originated in AAVE, kids these days say it because they don't want to swear

Are you a kid yourself? Everyone I know that talks this way, which is a lot, are fine swearing. They also say ‘ass’ plenty, they just use ‘ahh’ for emphasis cause they think it’s funny

In my experience the kids afraid of swearing also stay away from saying ahh.

My source are my cousins.

You might just need more friends. Just because your cousins specifically use it to avoid swearing doesn’t mean the entire generation does.

I promise you most of Gen Z is not afraid of swearing

Then they don't say ahh

What kind of argument are you making lmao. You can "nuh uh" all you want, this is how people talk. Most people aren't scared of swearing, but it's still popular slang because it has nothing to do with actually censoring the word ass.

People say ahh on tiktok because they don't want to swear

Kids say ahh in real life because they see it on tiktok

I'm done responding
