Just curious, for everyone who works at a drive-in as crew or management (not GMs), how many hours are y’all usually getting on a bi-weekly schedule? Just trying to see what everyone else’s hours look like compared to this check I worked
I’m sure this tends to be abnormal.

This has been needing to be said for a while now, but the new marinara sauce is ASS. The new popcorn chicken and chicken strips compared to the old stuff is complete ASS. Whatever switch was made in supplier was the absolute wrong move.

I want to leave my current job, but I need another job in place before I can go. The waiting is killing me, and I plan on calling Sonic tomorrow to see what's up.

I hope I get accepted. Fast food is never fun, but I'm used to it and I like what's familiar.

does anyone actually get jalapeno or pickles in thier slush or drink?? I see it as an option on the menu but I just can’t imagine anyone actually orders that. If you do please lmk what drink you get and if it’s good!!! i’m definitely open to trying new things I just can’t imagine a combo that would be good

Has Sonic recently modified or made a change to their cups and lids? Specially the Route 44. Seems like lately the lids do not fit as tight or securely as they have in the past. The lids seem to “pop” off easily. I realize this is a very first world problem. But just asking out of curious.

Got bogo smashers with the app. I also ordered chili cheese tots and tried the banana dirty dr pepper. It was good.

I had my interview yesterday and o remember at the end she told me to text her if I don’t hear back from them within a certain amount of time but I lowkey forgot what she said.

They gave me a buy one get one free coupon for signing up. I got the all American bacon sonic smasher and the supersonic bacon double cheeseburger.

9/10, not 10/10 because each was $9 without coupon but 9 points for taste and quality.

Had some oral surgery so I can't have solid food yet but once I'm able to I'm getting another bacon double cheeseburger.

Cardboard was beyond soaked and soggy (how tf do you manage to do that to a thick piece of cardboard btw) cheese was molten melty and hot but the meat was ice cold. The contents weren't even in the sandwich bread. Asked them to remake it and received a near identical horrid mistake of a burger. Disappointed on a major level :(

Since sometime last week I have been unable to login to the Sonic app on my Galaxy S23 Android phone. On the main page it keeps telling me to log in to access my rewards (Legend status); but whenever I log in (either password or Facebook), it just keeps sending me back to the same screen. Deleted data & cache and force stopped the app; still no go. Uninstalled & reinstalled the app; still no go. Website works fine, but the app doesn't. What's wrong with your app, Sonic?

Why are my rewards no longer working? I've tried this with multiple items, but the discounts don't take effect. I don't edit or add to the reward items in any way, so why are my reward discounts not applying anymore?

Yesterday at 6:12 PM at the Moncks Corner Sonic Drive In, we officially lost the old $7 Big Deal Meal. We now only have the sundae version. Sorry to those who liked the old one better.

Years ago I worked at Sonic. I was technically a grill person and trash taker outer which I know is a great combination of responsibilities.

One night we were closing and somebody realized something was very, very wrong with the milkshake machine. Someone had put ranch into the machine instead of the milkshake mix.

Not like a little ranch got mixed in. I mean we had apparently been making and serving ranch milkshakes for the entire night.

We immediately started trying to figure out how many people we'd served them to and somehow realized something even worse:

Nobody complained.

Not one person came back. Nobody called. Nobody said their Oreo shake tasted like ranch. Nothing. They called the GM because obviously this seemed like information the GM should probably have.

After they explained that we'd spent the night unknowingly selling ranch shakes to people, he was just like:

"Wow, they must've liked the ranch shakes!"

And that was pretty much the end of it. We all laughed about it.

To this day I still think about all those people who drove away from Sonic drinking a ranch milkshake and apparently just accepted that this was what Sonic tasted like.
