Brazil has been plagued by these lies for the last 40 years. We have free Chile care, free health Care, free education and free college. Crime is rampant Ane murder rates are th highest in our history. Why?! Because our populist leader are Allied with criminal organizations and our judges free them 24h after polic arrests them.

You Lesser crime rates by erasing or imprisioning criminals and the people allied with criminals.

If you had free food and shelter as well I'm very certain your crime rates plummet.

Brazilian are obese AF as It stands. The less obese a Brazilian is, the higher his income. These Obese hoods are rampant with crime.

There is no ending to housing issues If people that receive money from state have 4 times as many children as people that pay taxes. Our pregnancy rates among teens are the highest on the western world.

Naw, the criminals are well rested, fed and have extra energy to commit crimes.

Doing what? Against who? And for what purpose? Your fear of others is pathetic. It's time to grow up now. The boogyman isn't out to get you and the dark isn't that scary I promise.

There is great irony in throwing childish insults at the very same time you are telling someone to grow up.

To not even mention the naive worldview of the above post that is, with time, learned to not be idealistic true, or even possible.

World’s more complicated than that.

That sounds like high level corruption. I don’t think your politicians are committing crime because they didn’t get universal healthcare.

Removing crimes of desperation is not about stopping organised crime. It’s about stopping the rest.

To stop organised crime you need to legalise drugs so that there is no longer a major industry the criminals can trade in.

Or you can impeach corrupt judges and imprison these criminals like ele salvador did.

There is only one sucessful Case of winning a war against drugs and crime. And It was not solved by giving stuff for free.

And then what? Pay for everyone’s drug addictions through our universal healthcare system? No way people are going to let that fly.

Everyone’s? Not everyone would be a junky if only the law was different.

We already went through this with alcohol. It was banned and created organised crime in a bigger way than ever before.
Instead we limit its sale and tax it. Ideally that tax would go toward supporting addicts, but at least it’s getting taxed.

It’s already been done. It’s not hard, it just needs this hysteria and “war on drugs” to end.

You don't elect them!

Great. But in one month we Will have the second largest election in the planet. Brazil has more than 225 million people. Of these, 54 million receive money from social security. Odds are they will vote for the corrupt leaders they have been electing since 2003.
