Without disregarding the sentiments of the OP, for the post in the forum where you got banned - I have a question for my fellow Sikhs:
Why do we always have to choose the weakest form/method of communication about our past, our heritage, our values to the world?
If you do really feel so strongly about the brutalities meted to the Sikhs (which I have no doubt, you do), why not use that and do something about it. You have to understand that 1984 is a polarising topic and commenting on the same on a sub dominated by illiterates, is a sure shot way to getting treated the way that you did. Add to that, you are commenting on a post - where a bunch of illiterates are berating a religion and essentially spreading hatred towards that religion, and you decide that you want to try and be the voice of reason by telling them of the atrocities of people from their own religion towards people of another religion.. I would urge you to think this through rationally next time before you engage in conversation with such kind.

What was your even point commenting that? That’s completely out of context of the post though. It was about the massacre of Hindus and Sikhs both and you brought a separate point altogether. No sympathies for you
