Tzu Pics 📷 (no AI) Should I get my Tzu another Tzu???
So Miss Phoebe is almost 8 months old, and her just had another litter two days ago. I got really excited about the aspect of possibly having half siblings, but I am still kind of on the fence about it. This little diva goes with me everywhere, I take her to work everyday, and she LOVES people. (I work at a vet) She gets to play with coworkers dogs around her size, and she loves it. But I’m not sure if she would want to be a big sister. I’ve been thinking of all the pros and cons of having two. I wouldn’t want Phoebe to be sad and think we’re replacing her because we aren’t, someone to keep her company would be nice.
If I were to move forward with getting a sibling, would I have to get a separate pen? She has a play pen with her kennel in it (door open all of the time) so she can either be in her bed or out and about at night time with access to her food (she’s a night eater), some water and an emergency pee pad. The play pen is next to our bed so she knows we are right there.
I know having two would be double the work as having one, and will be more expensive. Especially grooming (she hates when I do anything to her but is fine at the groomers), and I have been blessed with a picky eater. What in the world would I do with two? Reading one dogs mind is hard enough, let alone two. I would love to have a house full, but I also know it’s a huge responsibility and I’m trying not to let my want of having two control the logical and practicality of it. Here’s the Shih Tzu picture tax
