thank you for your concern! the earthquake happened in the southern part of the country, but we were okay. i hope everyone affected by it was okay too. also, i gave "run down the city" a listen and it was indeed such a vibe!!

i saw the news about taiwan's tao tribe, and it was so cool and so amazing to learn about! the waves in that area of the northern philippines, especially around batanes, can be really wild, so the fact that they crossed using a traditional canoe is just incredible.
thank you for the moulin rouge card and for the travel tips! i'll definitely keep them in mind for the future.

thank you for the bang bang zine card! i really like the process of risograph printing. anyway, it's so cool that you can get to another country just by driving! i also had to look up the stamp featuring pulau ubin, and it looks like such a nice place to unwind and be surrounded by nature.

thank you for the risograph card! it's so interesting. i didn't know you can't make changes anymore once you're done with the stencil. i guess you really need to finalize everything and double-check before printing. would love to try creating one someday!
nice to hear your car will be paid off this year! it's quite a feat!! thanks for the mailbox with the snail on top card. such a cute one!

fried or grilled, marinated catfish is yummy! i'm not familiar with hushpuppies, and i haven't tried crawfish either. i'd love to try both someday. thank you for the bird card!

thanks for the art postcard! no, i'm afraid i'm not updated with the world cup. as for local drinks, i recommend gulaman. it's a refreshing, sweet jelly drink that's perfect for hot weather.

thank you for the 1999 daffy duck card! it's such a joy to write letters and connect with people from all over the world through snail mail. there's something really nice about being able to slow down and make these little connections.
thank you for the jet fighter card and for the blood orange song recos! i had a listen to all of them and they're really distinct from one another. they have such a 70s and 80s sound, but also very funky and groovy.

thank you for sharing the poem, "the fog comes on little cat feet. it sits looking over harbor and city on silent haunches and then moves on." i really like it. there's something so simple and beautiful about it. and thank you for the card!

thank you for the azuchi castle card! i agree, it's sad how cases involving stray animals are handled by the government. we don't have a lot of animal welfare organizations here either. it's also crazy how some people actually video themselves abusing animals, or own one without properly taking care of it. i really hope there are proper punishments for people like that. it's sad, really. pero ano pa nga bang aasahan sa gobyerno. lol

thanks for the statue of liberty card! i kind of fall under those people who get pet peeved when someone stops in the middle of the walkway, or when someone is walking really slowly on a busy street. or when people randomly and instantly stop. hah! but i guess people in ny are just intense.

thank you for the oversized card! one thing i'm really proud of about my country would be our beaches, but also the filipino mindset of "bayanihan." it's the tradition of helping and supporting one another, especially during difficult times. i think it's such a meaningful part of our culture.
