Thank You [thank you] another round of gratitude from Snoots!
Hey all, Im still receiving such wonderful mail and am forever blown away by the support and the absolutely wonderful cards!
as an update: i truly am still riding high on the cards that are coming and the kindness shown. I have been able to return to work and have not had any other thoughts of changing careers (jk but also not). Im remembering why i got into this, and the hard days do not define or reflect the good that we do. Im so so grateful for this community. (also, i have been taking some more self care, and so i have been delayed in my own card sending but they are coming!)

u/awachob - thank you so much for the stickers and the animal crossing card. I actually thought it was a licensed card and was blown away and then I saw the squirrel on the back (also tres cute!) I love it so much and put the little stickers on my water bottle to remind me at work of yours (and everyones) kindnesses!

u/tyedyeamish - another wonderful card! I remember taking a LONG layover one time on my way through and checking out times square. this reminds me of that long cold january night that i LOVED! pictures really dont do the enormity of that spot justice.

u/ribeyecut - i really really really love the v838 card! i love space and the universe and stars (if i dont think too hard about the enormity of it all). also love this journey for your NP! i hadnt been to disney until i was an adult, but i can say that a month off work and going to happy places all around the world is an incredible act of self care! best wishes to the newlyweds!

u/sshellsbbells - thankful you stamped it (and i need to get myself a snoots stamp!) so i knew it was from you! i love the birdie card you sent with the jokes. Healthcare and humor go together like PBandJ! and somehow our favorites involve poop, I dont know why! :) thank you for sending me a sweet card and the stickers inside. these transparent stickers are so fun!

u/mtlsmom86 - Thank you for the Fred Rogers card! We need him back, and by the millions, these days! I actually got into Planted tanks during covid and loved it! for awhile I had shrimp and snails and small aquatic frogs, and took in some fish I found in a bag outside Petco (!!!) but I mostly just wanted the extension of my houseplants (another covid hobby!) I have a Quaker Parrot and a bearded dragon and a couple cats at the moment, and its actually the least number of pets ive had in awhile (but a lot of work so thats okay!) thank you for thinking of me and sending me love. I hope you find the perfect teapot for your tank!! the decor was always a favorite!

u/ungodlysockmonster oh man the goodies you sent are fabulous! they kind of exploded all over me when i opened it and i chuckled with glee! and man, i LOVE those trader joes cards. i found a lot of them at goodwill once and thought man whast high quality cards (iykyk!) and when i realized they were trader joes it just made sense. I dont usually shop there, but when i do I always buy more cards than food! thanks so much for your kindness. im so glad youre in this group with us

oh i love orchids! id never seen a daffodil orchid before and its so beautiful! I love the color! you have a gaggle of pets that must bring so much joy! including rats! I had rats as pets as a kid (much much more fun than having rats under your house as an adult!) sometimes i think about getting them again when my littlest is bigger, but im not quite sure how the cats and bird would feel about that! thank you for thinking of me! grateful for you!

u/selfieswithcats - gracias para la carta de la catedral westminster! tengos dos gatitos tambien y me encanta plantas de interior! pero solo tengo una ventana buena en mi casa nueva, pero ahora estoy aprendiendo a cuidar plantas exterior. este verano, compri muchos flores para la exterior de mi casa. el verano proximo voy a intentar mas! voy a respuesto con una carta tambien! Esta bien a mandar una carta con papel regular? quiero practicar mas larga!

u/happyhippymom - i feel your positive vibes and i think you did an incredible job (as usual!) on the sunflower card you made in art class. Ive really really been contemplating taking one too, but keep talking myself out of it because i dont have a lot of spare time so it would be cutting into something else. however a friend gave me a long talk on how my self care has still been prioritizing other people and im not quite doing it right, so im really going to consider it! even just an online class! thanks so much. you are such a talented card maker and it inspires me!

U/namlette- oh I do love this card you chose. The pun first off (my late brother and I used to talk primarily in puns and it reminds me of something he'd say!) 2. Your hand writing is sooooo satisfying! 3. The words you shared, especially about Tabitha babbitt and how you used that story to lift me up. You are so kind. I felt sincerity in your words and thank you. 4. I love the little joke you put in there, and the stickers. You are such a kind person. Thank you for sharing that kindness with me. Ill cherish this card!

U/thewriteanne - oh how you somehow know me! I actually have a stuffed dumpster fire on my bed and my current fave pen has a flaming dumpster that says "its fine". Your card is so kind and touching. Your words are spot on and i believe you when you say them. Thank you so much. Also, you also have some great handwriting! Im a nerd for it because mine is ever improving and I think yours is so crisp!

U/fancy-variation-4401 I love this card! The leshan buddha isnt one i had heard of and I think its so rad! 71 meters tall!?! Also i thought this card was typed. Your lettering is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the story of a nurse you remember. I hope i am shining brightly in someone's memories. I know i am. I've gotten letters and comments and cards from patients before, but its easy to forget those during a hard time. And they dont always happen! Thank you for taking time to write me such a caring card. I love it!

u/fooskaaa - um this kitty pill card is ADORABLE. did you make it? it is SO cute. and while i will forever be thankful for my medication that sustains me, kitties are my preferred mood stabilizer :D also loved the touch of the nurse barbie stamp. next level postcarding to have these little touches i aspire to it!

u/sammanthax345 - thanks for your card! the bright envelopes always liven up the mail! i, too, believe puppies can be wonderful nurses. I used to manage at an animal shelter and i would sit in the kennels with the bigger dogs on my breaks or bring a pupper in to a meeting and i loved the sweet puppy breath and the squishy skin. animals can be so healing! grateful we both have the bestest husbands too! <3 thank you again!

u/yesimworkingnow oh your envelope of goodies made me happy! I always get excited about cards themselves (and loved the lady and the tramp one you sent! it went on the fridge so the toddler can see it because he is currently learning that dog could mean 1000 different breeds and million different appearances and loves them all!) but its always an added bonus when someone sends goodies. and now im convinced i need a snootsbooper stamp. maybe ill get one with a dog nose on it!
