Decent deal on a 5070 ti pre-built?

I'm looking to move on from my 2019 i7-9700k / RTX 2080 Super build.

I've always been an nvidia user and was hoping to stay but I had pretty much resigned myself to switching to the 9070 xt based on the insane pricing for nvidia cards.

However, this came up on the "closeout" section of my local Microcenter and it seems like it might be a decent deal all things considered?

The alternative would be a 9800x3d / 9070 xt build that is essentially the same price

Deal of the Day?

Upvotes

Am I missing something or is this a solid deal? Under $1900 with the 5% off. Would love feedback on the build, I’m not the most knowledgeable and did change a lot of the original build.

Any feedback for my first pc

Post image
Upvotes

Hey everyone, this is about to be my first pc, I’m at like 90% that I’m getting this later on this week. I realize it’s not the best “value” rn, but I hear great things, is a monster pc, and a great warranty if anything were to happen. I really want to spend the money now on a top end pc before things getting extremely out of hand with the ever rising prices. Really just wanted to hear from anyone that has gotten a Corsair or anyone with a 5080. Again, my first pc and I really want to splurge for something nice. Thanks to all who give me some feedback!

Went ahead and bought this. Went from a gtx 1650 and 12gb ddr4 so it was a huge upgrade. The pc feels pretty nice, but I want to make sure i didn’t get scammed.

What do you think about this Build? 9950x3D2 + 5090

Post image

Hey everyone,

Putting together a high-end rig for AI model training for fast inference multimodal (for smaller models), editing videos and gaming. Wanted to get a quick sanity check on the part list before locking it in. I am also worried if I am paying a lot for this build and if there would be discounts for black friday!

r/Prebuilts 11h ago

Are these specs considered good?

Upvotes

rtx 5070 12gb, intel core i5 14400f, and 16gb ram.
the only thing I might be worried about is if the ram is enough. should I upgrade to 32 gigs? the total price for all of it (with 16 gigs) is 1400.

Specs and Micro Center

Upvotes

So, I'm looking around for a prebuilt. The last PC I built was 10 years ago now, so I have a vague idea of what I'm looking at but a bit out of the loop on new stuff.

I would like to learn video editing; not depending on it for a job, just learning. I also don't use a Pc for heavy AAA games. Mostly steam games and stuff like war thunder. What do I need to look for as far a CPU and GPU? I suspect at least 32GB of RAM and decent storage.

Also I see a lot of people talk about Microcenter but have never been, St. Louis Park is a few hours away. Is it worth the trip or am I better off at like Costco or online?

I feel like the best time to get a PC will be before the end of the year.

I haven't heard a Positive news regarding RAM prices recently. I also don't want to wait as demand Increase due to this companies price Gouging and monopoly on the Market. best news i heard came out about a month or two ago about a Chinese company named CXMT entering the market. But even so it will take at least until 2028-29 before prices stabilizes. i don't wanna be pessimistic about this issue, but the direction the PC market is going right now is rather unsettling.

this are some options i picked I want a high end PC Brand new!. i will be choosing one before the end of the year. hopefully they are better deals with the same or even better specs on Black Friday and during the holiday season. hopefully by then i have that amount of money saved up.
