If we’re gonna get reaaaallll granular about linguistics, NaPoVoInterCo separates consonants with vowels in a way that makes the phrase roll off the tongue naturally. NPVIC has more closed consonants in succession that, despite being one syllable less, does not really make a difference to how long it takes to say the phrase.

Try saying NaPoVoInterCo as fast as you can three times. Then try the same with NPVIC. If you time yourself it’ll basically be the same.

It's also more aurally pleasing in the "long" form. Making my brain parse four consecutive "ee" letters is a bit much.
