Wow I was just watching a YouTube video on the failed Percy Jackson movies and heard her name for probably the first time yesterday then I see this comment
I think it's just saying that blue eyes look strange on dogs, since it's a rare (or at least uncommon) genetic trail (which is also, sadly, associated with a higher chance of the dog developing vision/hearing loss!)
Oh, that's a problem because the audiobook is is the one that's not holding my attention. I do notice that it's very well done and appreciate it, but it's still not hooking me. I think I need to give it another try.
have you checked out the graphic audio version? AND if you are having trouble with just the first hour or two just listen and don't think too hard. it jumps around a lot on things that would be hard for you to wrap your head around before landing on 3 stories that are told pretty damn effectively and very easy to follow unlike the first hour

Her blue eyes/brown hair combo is very rare. It's unsettling because of the uniqueness of it. It's also made more unsettling because how wide the actress keeps here eyes. She got "crazy eyes".
I went into that trailer not knowing it was a documentary. Being A24 I assumed it was some sort of psychological horror film and was absolutely unsettled by the commitment and authenticity the two actors were portraying. When it said documentary, I felt a pit in my stomach,.
Nathan probably is acting...to some extent. He'll have some sort of agenda to interviewing her lol it's always a guessing game with that dude. He got good grades.
just because something tells you its a documentary, you can't assume that to be true. Variety's review of this said "You Can See Everything is just about the furthest thing from a pure documentary you’ve ever seen." Goes on to say it's more like reality TV in movie form.
This is a still from trailer to the Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything by Nathan Fielder. The trailer is entirely a scene of them talking and she comes off as utterly deranged. That scene alone if more unsettling than most horror movies.

This specifically is a reference to the please buy her brown contacts dog meme, but beyond that this entire thing is a psyop, massively. She just looks like a normal person I genuinely just don’t get why people are acting crazy
