Some serious photoshop editing in these photos
Edit: for anyone wondering check left arm on left photo, some clear lines there. But plenty of evidence on both photos.
•
u/Secure_Camel260 12h ago
Every major magazine photoshops their models, cover pages were notorious for this back in the day.
•
•
u/ibuycheeseonsale 11h ago
Yep. My sister worked for a home design magazine and even they did that. They had stock photos of smooth, blemish-free underarms and knees and just whatever body parts that didn’t look the way they wanted in photos of people in the feature stories.
•
u/Karl_Skarin 11h ago
Yes I've have some experience of this as well. At points you just exchange the entire thing. Which always have disgusted me. I still think people don't fathom the amount of body dysmorphia this causes.

Back in the day they used Photoshop to add boob sizes, now they remove plastic surgery scars.

I have worked in production and shoots on major brands for over 15 years (given I’m on the motion side of things and not stills. But I work with the stills team as we have to share talent and coordinate on lighting). Every single shoot. Every one has retouching. It’s part of the pipeline. Given, I’m not going to weigh in on whether she was retouched because she definitely was. But what OP is pointing out may be compression creating that illusion. I’d have to see full res images. But knowing the pipeline there’s no way that ELLE let something so glaring slip though. There would be the Retoucher, the producer, an art director as well as the creative director all looking over this before the EIC does final approvals. Especially for a shoot of this calibre. These images would have many well trained eyes going over with a fine toothed comb.

Her left or our left? I don't see anything on either hands anyway
•
u/Karl_Skarin 11h ago
Our left. Zoom in on left picture left arm. Arm and body is clearly cut out and thinned. Almost all look like a different body all together.
•
u/DaddysABadGirl 12h ago
It's so weird. Like I get the need to edit the shots and clean them up, adjust lighting or whatever. But I didn't even recognize her here. And she looks prettier normal.
•
u/Beautiful-Total-3172 10h ago
This is not the joke nor explained like Peter. This sub is falling apart. Back to you, Tom.
•
u/Woolier-Mammoth 9h ago
I think the joke is that the photo on the right is so abhorrently bad (look at the gloves, the way that the photo makes her hands look huge, the appalling belt, the lighting) that she must have done something that made the photographer want to paint her in a bad light.

u/Economy-Tourist-4862 8h ago
And????? I don’t think “Fashion Magazine Photoshops Model” would necessarily be in the top 100 headlines for the day.
Not being facetious, just not sure of the importance. What am I missing if you would explain?

u/PrestigiousAct2 12h ago
She had cosmetic surgery.
•
u/KrissyKrave 12h ago
She did not. Thats physically impossible given her current film schedule and movie contracts strict prohibition of any procedures that alter appearance and fuck up visual continuity.
It’s lighting, professional makeup and professional photography/editing.
People need to stop immediately assuming a person has had work done.

People need to stop immediately assuming a person has had work done.
Will someone stop persecuting the poor rich celebrities, a demographic well known for elective surgeries?
•
u/AggressiveBench9977 11h ago
Idk reddit demo is also pretty filled with incel with victimhood fetish. But you probably already know that being one.
Does shitting on celebrities make you feel like a loser? Cause thats pretty pathetic bud.
•
u/TapirDrawnChariot 9h ago
pretty filled with incel
I'm happily married my brother.
Also why such a vitriolic reaction to my comment? Really, simping for people who don't know or care that you exist as they sip champagne on a yacht? Pretty pathetic bud.
•
u/AmbitiousVast9451 8h ago
how do you equate not jumping to a conclusion to simping? just because you don't care for them doesn't mean you also have to assume something
•
u/Amracool 8h ago
Mmmm yummy boot
•
u/AmbitiousVast9451 8h ago
yep because if someone is more rich than you that means every possible evil imaginable is equal to them. hope ur ragebaiting
•
•
u/ChampsMauldoon 8h ago
Thank you for defending the rich actors. No one had to do it, but you stepped up.
•
u/Low_Hope5560 12h ago
How do you know she had those clauses in her contract? Just look at Erin Moriarty in The Boys.
•
u/DaddysABadGirl 12h ago
Didn't she say she has graves?
•
u/Low_Hope5560 11h ago
People bring this up for some reason but it's not really relevant. Yeah she lost weight, but she also clearly got a shit ton of lip filler and Botox.
She can barely say her lines in the second half of the show and slurs her words.
•
u/mosspigletsinspace 6h ago
Maybe she's had work done but let's not act like graves disease just causes weight loss. Hypothroidism and fucked up cartilage ain't no picnic.
•
u/Adept-Grapefruit-214 11h ago
You mean another actress who has still never confirmed she had work done?
•
•
u/Low_Hope5560 11h ago
Why does that matter? I have eyes and ears. In the second half of the show her face barely moves and she slurs all of her lines.
•
•
u/AggressiveBench9977 11h ago
I mean i have eyes and i know photo shop exists.
So i dont need the clauses to tell the difference between editing in a photo and plastic surgery. Given there is literal recent interviews with her normal face
•
u/Fun_Concentrate3250 12h ago
She has toyed with fillers in the past, her lips ballooned at one point…idk why we are acting like actresses in their 30s and 40s aren’t getting work done at all whatsoever. It’s usually pretty subtle but it’s there.
•
•
u/Mediocre_Internet939 12h ago
You know ... You are making a lot of assumptions here to support your defense against other peoples assumptions.
•
u/FishTshirt 12h ago
That’s exactly what someone who had work done would say /s
•
u/Late_Recommendation9 11h ago
I’m frowning at you. No, really. Frowning. Well of course you can’t tell, my forehead is 50% rattlesnake poison.
•
u/Treestroyer 12h ago
It’s hilarious how much make up and lighting confuses 95% of these Reddit threads.
•
•
•
u/crazyeight80 12h ago
I mean isn't she pretty open about getting Botox and other cosmetic surgeries?
•
u/Avocadoo_Tomatoo 12h ago
Yes but the post implies she had a procedure(s) that has altered her looks completely which is not case.
•
•
•
u/No-Rub8345 12h ago
incredible smoke show with short hair looks even more stunning with longer hair let down. More at 11
•
•
u/marc_hardman 12h ago
Just some botox, maybe a hint of filler, and a makeup artist making her look like every other generic "beautiful" person.
•
u/DaddysABadGirl 12h ago
I don't think so. Other pictures she still just looks like her. This is just heavy edditing. Heavy shit edditing.
•
u/marc_hardman 10h ago
Could be this too.
Dunno why beauty has gotten so generic, no matter the means
•
u/DaddysABadGirl 9h ago
It goes in and out of style for some reason. I remember times when magazine covers would all suddenly look airbrushed or eddited to the point of looking fake. Closer to cartoons than people. And the weird fad of adding an insane glow, to the point it was like they were sources of soft lighting 😂

I took the tweet to mean that these photos are so bad, that she must’ve “done something” to the photographer/photoshopped to make them treat her this way.
•
u/PageOf_Wands 5h ago
She did a video openly acknowledging her botox immediately following getting said botox (needle marks on her face and swelling). The joke is that we are asking when she's already answered. Petah out !!
•
u/iamwhiskerbiscuit 12h ago
In the picture on the right her arm appears to be at least 2 inches shorter. Like the whole thing is AI and she created these pictures as an alibi
•
•
u/Hopeful_Push7334 11h ago
She looks so much like Hayden Panettiere here its crazy. The photoshop is going way too hard
•
•
•
u/ThePhantomStrikes 12h ago
Before ai and photoshop we had the airgun, who knows if it’s work or photo manipulation.

She’s a beautiful woman, but I am bothered by how short her neck is. It looks so unnatural.
•
u/MrMetraGnome 8h ago
Maybe it's just wondering why there's a picture of a random YT woman with no context.
•
u/Global_Restaurant794 8h ago
She's a fairly famous actress. She was in a movie with Harry Styles awhile back, and I'm she's been in a lot more too but idk what
•
•
u/zo0ombot 6h ago
She's been in Dune, Oppenheimer, & the new Spider-Man movie, along with many others. She is a pretty famous actress
•
u/MrMetraGnome 6h ago
I've seen all of those films. I don't recognize her. Without context, she's just a token, blonde, YT woman. So I read the "joke" of "did she do something" as, "why are you showing a picture of this random YT woman with no context".

Did Reddit just figure out that photos are touched up? Is this a fucking new concept to people here?

Brian here. She gave me a handjob while she wore those gloves. I remember what they smelled like, because I have a dog's sense of smell. They smelled of tuna.
•
u/CautiousArachnidz 12h ago
So…the gloves smelled like tuna, after she gave you a handjob.
Your dick smells like tuna?
•
u/Calculon2347 12h ago
Clearly, as a novel-writer with a high intellect (and the ability to hear really high frequencies, which isn't relevant but I am a narcissistic dog) my attempt to make a joke got a little too convoluted like a long-winded metaphor in my book, Faster Than The Speed Of Love.
They smelled of fish, because she'd been masturbating.
