I assume its about the discourse of Ariana Grande’s dramatic weight loss and its negative effect on children, pointing out that she is far from the only one.

But Zendaya and Chalamet don’t really fit.

u/Hour_Flow_4604 16h ago

I didn't think Celine does either. Doesn't she have some kind of muscular disease?

u/Fumby_ 16h ago

I believe it's stiff person syndrome.

u/solarmelange 16h ago

If you get invited to a sleepover at her house, it is apparently bad form to suggest playing Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board.

u/PPTASS 16h ago

She's got an affinity for musical statues though.

u/therealhlmencken 13h ago

One time a table I was waiting forgot to pay. I was the stiffed person that day.

u/buttlicker090114 14h ago

Twister would be frowned upon as well

u/zvarda 11h ago

God I thought this was just a mean dig but it'sreally the name for it. Learn something new everyday

u/Embarrassed_Jerk 13h ago

Hey that's the syndrome she gave me growing up

u/GaptistePlayer 14h ago

She's also been really skinny (and old) for decades lol. I doubt she knows who Ariana Grande is much less is taking cues from her.

u/drakorulez101 11h ago

What…?

u/RickAndToasted 15h ago

She's been thin for decades though, so pre-dating her current situation.

u/krumrot 15h ago

Shes had stiff person syndrome for quite some time just only got properly diagnosed, shes been taking meds for the symptoms for many years

u/Historical_Sugar9637 15h ago

But being thin in itself is not a problem though? It's only a problem when it's the unhealthy type of thin (same with the other direction)

u/loyal_achades 15h ago

The cultural hyperfixation on thinness has consistently sat in the unhealthy range forever.

u/Historical_Sugar9637 15h ago

Yes, society's obsession with body shapes is a continuing problem, but somebody famous being thin OR plus-sized in a healthy way does not make them part of that problem.

u/therealhlmencken 13h ago

Nah lol there’s a lot more obesity than dangerous thinness. Anorexia isn’t a joke but it’s no where near as widespread as hyperphagia. Just easier to pile on people struggling with it.

u/HauntedBitsandBobs 12h ago

Anorexia is an extremely, if not the single deadliest, mental health issue a person can deal with. People die from it far faster than they do from obesity because of how quickly malnutrition can impact bones and organs long term on top of the lifelong battle to stay well. While people are certainly bullied for being thin, thin is considered good, healthy, attractive, and appealing so many people pursue it in unhealthy, potentially deadly ways like extreme diets, excessive workouts, medications, supplements, and surgeries.

A very thin person is often perceived as sickly and in need of help, but a very obese person is perceived as a lazy glutton. The bullying for obesity comes with character judgements that impacts the empathy a person receives and their worthiness in the eyes of others in a way that thin people seldom get.

u/lovelyxbabydoll 7h ago

Yep. The deadliest. 18-20% death rate if calculating long term risks within a 20 year window. The closest to the 10 year window anorexia death rate of 5-10% is borderline personality.

u/therealhlmencken 11h ago

I don’t really know what to say. I agree anorexia super sucks and is a mental illness that is super dangerous. I also agree skinny people are way less likely to be bullied for being a lazy glutton. In America at least gluttony tends to mostly be about food I know you can be a glutton for other niceties but yeah rare to see someone with a lot of jewelry being called a glutton I guess. There are enough other things people come at each other for that skinny people are still susceptible though.

u/GaptistePlayer 14h ago

So has fatness but apparently celebrities being skinny causes a meltdown (meanwhile 1/3 of the US is clinically obese)

u/loyal_achades 14h ago

Yes, the obesity epidemic is, separately, an issue with very different root causes.

u/therealhlmencken 12h ago

Very different root causes? Both are just resultant of improper diet and exercise.

u/aStonedTargaryen 11h ago

That’s an extremely reductive way of viewing either condition

u/therealhlmencken 11h ago

Simplifying it to fatness or skinniness is already super reductive. There’s a ton of reasons why one could be skinny or fat and those could overlap or not. Amount of calories stored is the only real connection between things that can be mental, biological, environmental etc etc

u/reluctantseahorse 12h ago

Plus, more to the point of the joke, I don't think kids these days are aware of (let alone being affect by) Celine Dion's appearance.

u/PenguinZombie321 16h ago

Neither does Celine Dion since she had an autoimmune disease. Of course she’s not the picture of health.

u/Affectionate-Tea8509 16h ago

I think it’s that and the fact that most of the celebs pictured are thought to have undergone cosmetic surgery to achieve that hollow cheeked/gaunt appearance.

Zendaya and Toyota Chevrolet maybe fit the aesthetic but they just look to be naturally thin with a natural appearance that just fits that aesthetic.

u/Ebonhearth_Druid 16h ago

And Celine has a literal autoimmune disorder, it's not from choice.

u/Affectionate-Tea8509 16h ago edited 15h ago

Genuinely forgot about her that’s true. Feels weird including her here tbh

u/ALIFIZK- 16h ago

Toyota Chevrolet hahaha

u/actual-trevor 16h ago

He's no Bandersnatch Cummerbund but I still chuckled.

u/Aeriasingian 13h ago

Bendystraws Comeinpacks is clearly superior.. but i too laughed as it did catch me off guard.

u/Ebonhearth_Druid 13h ago

Banderbund Cummersnatch

u/bbbourb 14h ago

Fucking "Toyota Chevrolet..."

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

u/Illustrious_Zebra_95 13h ago

Aww mate Toyota Chevrolet is quality.

u/Laiko_Kairen 9h ago

Toyota Chevrolet

😂😂😂

Brilliant

u/Silent_Advance7506 16h ago

That's it. It's about Ariana getting so much flack but not so much these other people...... Zendaya doesn't belong. She's naturally willowy, but doesn't look emaciated. Timothee is thin and not overly muscular but I wouldn't call him that. He's dating Kylie Jenner.

u/MonteBurns 16h ago

But I don’t even recognize the other ones, so idk if younger kids would?? Like those people aren’t all up in my face every day being a skeleton…

u/SnooBananas6853 12h ago

Including Celine Dion (who doesn't belong anyway as her looks are tied to her actual AI disorder) is one it seems weird to include for me. Not too many young ones out there are queueing up to go see Ms. Vegas Residency. Maybe if this was 25 years ago...

u/SeniorVibeAnalyst 15h ago

Zoë Kravitz doesn’t belong either she’s just always been hot

u/justherefor23andme 15h ago

I saw the actual catsuit she wore at the WB studio tour and her proportions are absolutely unfathomable. She's unbelievably tiny. Most women would not fit in that. My estimation is only a thin 10-14 yo girl would.

u/justherefor23andme 12h ago

10 year old boy wearing size 10 clothing for reference. He's much wider than she is.

u/Cats_4234 14h ago

To be fair, she's like 5'2''. As someone that is also 5'2'' and a healthy weight, most women will not fit into my clothes either. I literally stopped growing at 12. Ariana is a different story.

u/justherefor23andme 14h ago

I'm 5'2 and a size 4 and Id still be about 20+ lbs overweight and maybe in need of an entirely different bone structure, which is why it was astounding. I know plenty of thin women who wouldn't fit in that.

u/orangekirby 15h ago

Zendaya is very very thin, if we’re talking about reinforcing the beauty standard of hyper thin, then she absolutely fits.

But I don’t think any of them fit with Ariana grande. Being thin is one thing and not automatically bad, but Grande has a clear eating disorder and her team is gaslighting and guilt tripping the public about it.

u/_Rand_ 15h ago

To me Zendaya always seemed… natural I guess? Like she never outgrew the scrawny kid phase.

Some others in hollywood though make me wonder if they are OK.

u/green_chapstick 14h ago

Yeah, you can tell by her cheeks thats just how she's built. Im built the same way... 5'10" and high metabolism. Its annoying. Im willing to bet she has zero concerns for the amount of calories she takes in. Her body type is not her fault and she shouldn't be held responsible for it.

u/Heubner 13h ago

When you are actively losing weight by avoiding food, you lose the fat in your cheeks too. That’s why she looks natural. The fat pad in her cheeks are still there, so you can tell she isn’t starving herself. Crazy thing is a lot of people are removing the fat pad these days. Makes them look much older and sicker.

u/crapola464 14h ago

Zendaya isn’t concerningly thin though. She doesn’t look unhealthy, her face isn’t gaunt or sunken, her chest isn’t super bony. She looks fine.

Just existing as a naturally thin & tall person isn’t reinforcing a beauty standard.

u/orangekirby 11h ago

I agree, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with how she looks or is. I’m just saying that she’s fashion model thin. I don’t think it’s 100% natural in that of she weren’t famous, she probably wouldn’t feel pressure to be quite as thin.

But again, nothing wrong with her

u/NonSum-NonCuro 11h ago

But she has a heavy scowl.

u/Sea-Needleworker4253 13h ago

In what world is she "very very"?

u/orangekirby 11h ago

You don’t think she’s very thin? What’s your standard for normal?

She’s very thin, but also I don’t see a problem with it.

u/Sea-Needleworker4253 2h ago

She's just thin/skinny not "very very" thin.

u/MrsNoodleMcDoodle 16h ago

And Sombr is like 19, Celine has a debilitating chronic illness

u/shalallaalaaala 15h ago

Blud is just a scrawny twink, he’s done nothing to deserve being on this list

u/TotallyWonderWoman 13h ago

Sombr doesn't fit either. He's a tall-ass young man who hasn't filled out yet and his mom has a similar body type. Ariana has lost a sognificant amount of weight when she was already petite and has a history of eating disorders.

u/Adventurous-Ebb974 14h ago

The 1st one Zoe Kravitz doesn't fit either she's always looked that way which is exactly like her parents who are also just naturally thin.

u/TooPunkForThePopKids 11h ago

to be fair, they’re both models and it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say they have strict dietary guidelines as a result. they have joked in an interview about how they don’t really eat lol. I do agree that their case is dissimilar and they don’t really fit this current heroin-chic trend.

u/Snoo17579 4h ago edited 4h ago

Comparing a model's physique is pointless because that look is their uniform. Like the second person is Alex Consani, a model. If you wanna keep your jobs you gotta wear your uniform

u/Character-Parfait-42 14h ago

I mean I do think it’s unfair to guilt someone who’s experiencing a mental health issue by putting the weight of the world’s children on them.

I also think it’s a very teachable moment for parents about what eating disorders look like and how even someone as successful, wealthy, and beautiful as Ariana Grande can struggle with feelings of insecurity and body dysmorphia, to the point that they sadly do harm to themselves. Use it as an opportunity to have an open and honest talk with your child about self esteem, insecurity, and healthy eating and exercise; if you don’t that’s not Ariana Grande’s fault, that’s your own failing as a parent.

The only thing I think about when I see Ariana Grande’s weight loss is that I feel bad for her. She’s clearly struggling with something horrible, whether that’s an eating disorder or something up with her health that she doesn’t want to share (there’s a plethora of health issues that can cause sudden drops in weight).

u/Snoo17579 4h ago edited 4h ago

Also Alex Consani. She's a model, she has to be thin and flat.

u/every-stich 1h ago

Actually, Zendaya is quite thin

u/scrutator_tenebrarum 13h ago

They indeed fit a lot

u/piper_perri_vs_5guys 15h ago

Zendaya is everywhere and Timothy is a man in a woman’s body

u/shredbmc 16h ago

They all look emaciated, but Zendaya is really more of a lanky skinny and Timothy is just scrawny.

I'm assuming the comment about Ariana is because she's a celebrity oriented more towards children than adult acting.

u/Tsukiko615 16h ago

I wouldn’t say Zendaya looks emaciated though, she looks the same level of thinness as Arianna did before she lost loads of weight she just has a smaller bust

u/not_responsible 7h ago

Yeah Zendaya definitely counts. Yeah she’s tall, but she’s skinnnnyyy. It’s the skinnnnyyy that triggers the bad thoughts

u/PhantomOfTheNopera 15h ago

Ariana also keeps posting about how unhealthy she was and how she's the healthiest she's ever been - which is a dangerous lie considering how young many of her fans are.

u/doratoreadora 15h ago

Ariana has an older fanbase than you'd expect by reading their posts online. The audience grew with her basically. I would call her progression to adult themes fairly gradual

u/fitwbren 13h ago

Ariana grande is not for children at all, her fanbase age demographic is in the 20s

u/witherin 11h ago

She literally has toys of her in the kids doll section. She is for kids because of the projects and merch she has put out- if she didn’t do this stuff I wouldent give a shit-

u/fitwbren 11h ago

What year are you living in lmao this is definitely not true in current times

u/witherin 11h ago

I saw it last week- lemmi find you a link!

https://www.walmart.com/ip/14464107545?sid=0448A567-46F5-4924-92D9-DFE7003B455D
Here is one of many! I was there in person and they had a ton!

u/fitwbren 11h ago

….this is a wicked doll, it’s Glinda

Just because she played Glinda in wicked (which is also not a children’s movie it is appropriate for kids but definitely not a kids movie and it’s based off of a book that is VERY much inappropriate for kids) does not make her an artist that’s geared towards children. Delusional take

u/[deleted] 11h ago

[removed] — view removed comment

u/witherin 11h ago

A lot of people not in eating disorder spaces do not know that Ari used to have an eating disorder tumblr wayyyy before she was famous. She knows what she’s doing and the possible impact on others.

u/fitwbren 11h ago

Please do lmao because it’s definitely not current merch. Her merch is lighters, keychains, apparel, vinyls etc. and her other brands are makeup and fragrance. Her music is not at all appropriate for children either. The only content of her that is child appropriate is wicked

u/witherin 11h ago

The doll even has her thin arms.

u/Useful-Soup8161 9h ago

The dolls body likely isn’t modeled after hers. Mattel rarely makes new body molds for a movie/celebrity doll. They’ll make a head for them sometimes but they’ll just stick it on whatever the current main body mold is.

u/shredbmc 13h ago

They are NOW in their 20s, but many of us have children in their 20s. Especially middle aged people commenting on the anorexia in Hollywood these days.

u/fitwbren 13h ago

I don’t really understand what you’re trying to say here but these are recent events so yes, a fan base that is currently in their 20s both late and early, is not looking up to her for how they should physically look. Parents need to do a better job of parenting if they have ACTUAL children NOT 20 year old adults that are looking up to ANYONE in Hollywood/media for body goals and whatnot. It seems people would rather shift blame to strangers than just do a better job at parenting…

u/shredbmc 12h ago

The 20 year old who was a teenager while Ariana was clearly anorexic would absolutely be impacted by them.

Even the most helicopter parents can't shelter their children from all media. Kids and young adults are more likely to be influenced by it and their peers than anyone else, so yes her experiences have impacts on children.

Anyone who thinks good parenting can solve every issue in childhood is choosing to ignore reality.

u/fitwbren 12h ago

This is an embarrassing take and the lack of awareness of what good parenting can and should do for children in this current day and age where there are countless sources of dangerous ideals, messages and beliefs in media tells me that you hopefully do not have kids and never will

u/shredbmc 12h ago

If you believe that you can mitigate every exposure your children go through then you either don't have children in a school system, or you are denying the reality of life.

Were you a child? Did you do everything your parents taught you? Did you not make your own decisions that went against your teachings? Have you ever done something because of peer pressure?

Be real because this is real life and you literally cannot control someone by providing better parenting or education.

u/fitwbren 12h ago

I didn’t say you can mitigate everything… but honest to god body and beauty ideals is literally the easiest thing to get ahead of as a parent. Sorry that you’re too lazy to do it and want other people to take accountability for how your offspring feels about themselves instead LMFAO

u/shredbmc 12h ago

You have no idea what your talking about. I sincerely hope your choice to remain ignorant doesn't come back to impact your life in the future.

u/IBAChristian317 13h ago

That's not true though...

u/shredbmc 13h ago

Very insightful comment.

u/IBAChristian317 13h ago

You need to get with the times bro.

u/shredbmc 12h ago

Again with the comment that does nothing to contribute to the conversation. Maybe a little context into what the hell you are talking about would help?

u/IBAChristian317 12h ago

Ariana Grande is not oriented towards children and hasn't been in over 10 years.

u/shredbmc 12h ago

And do you think our children weren't impacted by her anorexia 10 years ago? Do you think young children didn't see her as an icon during her struggles? Also, how can you say she's not marketed towards children?? She's still doing Disney movies

u/witherin 11h ago

Tell that to the Walmart toy section!

u/Main-Application-666 4h ago

Have you heard Ariana’s music?? She’s definitely not oriented towards kids

u/shredbmc 3h ago

Right, much like Britney spears had no influence on children yeah?

u/carlcarlington2 16h ago

"Hey stop smoking Crack in a school zone!"

"What about those other guys smoking Crack in a school zone?"

" oh, I didn't see you there! Stop smoking Crack in a school zone!"

u/Objective_Bad_479 16h ago

Dr Hartman here, Celine Dionne has an autoimmune disorder that is likely the cause of her appearance. It can make daily living difficult and cause unintended weight loss. The joke is that she should not be the cause of people looking gaunt for fashion

u/Tom_Gibson 16h ago

Ariana Grande has recently lost so much weight that she's anorexic. The original poster is pointing out that it's not just Ariana who's unhealthily thin now. The reply is humorously pointing out that Zendaya and Timothee are naturally skinny people. They aren't anorexic

u/farfetched22 15h ago

Anorexia is not a level of skinny, it is a disease and you don't only have it once you've gotten a certain amount of skinny.

People that are dangerously underweight can have gotten there many ways, and people that are technically overweight can also be anorexic.

u/violettquasar 12h ago

Thank you for saying this. Adding onto what the poster above said: 95% of anorexic people aren’t visibly underweight. Many people who are severely sick with anorexia never get to the point where they look emaciated. It’s fundamentally a psychiatric disorder, even though it has directly medical effects… so you often can’t tell from physical appearance who has it.

-Signed an anorexic who never got to the point of being severely emaciated but has had this disorder for 20 years and is desperately trying to recover now.

u/farfetched22 7h ago

I'm so sorry, I hope you're getting the help and support you need and deserve and can be healthy 🖤

u/GaptistePlayer 14h ago

Sure, but it undercuts the point to say "here are some more skinny people" and give them an armchair twitter diagnosis of an eating disorder

u/[deleted] 16h ago edited 16h ago

[deleted]

u/South_Butterscotch37 16h ago

It’s a commentary on disordered eating. The top part is saying “why do ppl pick on Ariana grande when all these other celebrities embody the same thing as her” and the bottom part is saying zendaya doesn’t look eating disordered, she’s just tall and timothee chalamet is not eating disordered he’s just a twink. But he’s not so that’s another layer of humor.

u/Worried-Language-407 16h ago

The top poster is basically saying people go on about Ariana Grande being too skinny (and blame her appearance for an increase in children's eating disorders), but there are plenty of other celebrities who are concerningly skinny.

The bottom poster is basically saying that Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet don't deserve to be included because they aren't actually concerningly skinny, but they are simply tall and a twink respectively.

Personally I think it's better to make a point about trends in celebrity appearance rather than call out specific women, but I also think Ariana Grande is probably the most visible in terms of this trend, since she has noticeably lost weight recently, and is also possibly the most famous celebrity to be concerningly skinny.

u/Snoo17579 4h ago

I think we should also exclude model from this. Their skinny look is basically their uniform

u/daisy808girl 15h ago

Celine Dion having a disease is so not fair to add to this

u/mushroomie719 16h ago

As someone who grew up pretty lanky, some of these people are just naturally low body fat with low muscle mass and the discourse about how dare they show their bodies like it isn’t a bad influence has been really upsetting for me. Every few years we seem to forget that bodies exist on a spectrum. There are a few concerningly intentional thin frames in here, so I understand where the conversation comes from and agree that we should not be idealizing unhealthy weight loss, but every “collection” post I see about this always includes at least one person who has just always been like that, and boy wouldn’t that fuck you up to just be existing and have people turn around and go “you look like a fucking corpse, please stop showing yourself in public?”

u/PaintedDesertSkies 15h ago

Celine actually has a disease.

Nothing wrong with Zendaya or Chalamet? Just because Chalamet is weird looking, doesn't mean he is under weight.

A lot of Demi is age. (Face is buccal removal) Some of us balloon out of nowhere and some slowly start taking up less space.

u/Roy_Koopa_DX 16h ago

People are mad at Ariana Grande because she’s anorexic and a bad role model for young girls who will try to be like her. This poster is saying the problem goes deeper than just her.

I assume most of these people are on Ozempic and the reply is saying Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet aren’t and that’s just how they are naturally, more or less.

u/Front-Pomelo-4367 15h ago

Celine Dion actually has an autoimmune illness, so she doesn't really belong here either. I mean, she's thin, but she's thin because she's ill and has been ill for years

u/Roy_Koopa_DX 11h ago

Woah, I honestly had no idea. Thank you for sharing!

u/Front-Pomelo-4367 11h ago

It doesn't sound like a real disease, but she has SPS, or stiff-person syndrome

u/xXbatbabeXx 14h ago

let’s not pretend the celebs in the pic are on this level of emancipated

u/TurtleSandwich0 16h ago

Various celebrities who a parent could blame for their child's body dysmorphia.

Or the next generation of unrealistic body standards.

u/justgottamakeit15 15h ago

It’s all so stupid. Worry about your own body. Raise your own children. Mind your own business. No one is forcing you to be bone skinny just like no one forces you to be bigger.

u/witherin 13h ago

Yes, but I have a problem when they are marketing it specifically towards children. Arianna has a doll of herself in Walmarts around the nation. She is making money off of children who want to look like her. She’s marketing herself to children- and not caring about the lifelong impact of normalizing her currently unhealthy body. People freaked out over Eugenia Clooney showing up on YouTube kids, how is this different when its on the shelves in stores, the main character of wicked- young girls idolize her and look up to her and want to look like her, and she’s making money off of that while normalizing being a weight that most people don’t live past 30. Eating disorders are highly complex and competitive, she’s aloud to exist, but she also needs to know the ramifications of being a idol and also being a triggering low weight- and also wearing clothing that shows off and highlights that low weight.

u/justgottamakeit15 12h ago

Ariana is not responsible for raising your children.

u/witherin 11h ago

I don’t have kids mam- just calling out somebody marketing towards them.

u/justgottamakeit15 10h ago

And my point still stands. Celebrities should not be influencing anyone’s children to the point of anorexia.

u/IBAChristian317 13h ago

See reply below. "My body my choice" has only ever been about one thing. The left doesn't believe in bodily autonomy and never has.

u/Snoo17579 4h ago

I honestly don’t have a good guess.

u/Embarrassed_Elk_2459 16h ago

Megan here, Ariana Grande has been criticized a lot lately because of her weight loss which people point out as a bad influence on kids. So the person on the post put together a list of celebrities that also should be criticized because of their unhealthy weight loss (according to them) but the thing is Zendaya and Timothee have thinner body shapes.

u/Adventurous_Bee5042 16h ago

Ariana Grande is incomprehensibly skinny right now.. like to the point we can see the majority of her bones.

These other celebrities have suddenly become a LOT thinner (not sure about Sombr as he’s quite new in the scene) and with the rise of this ‘skinny’ movement which is consuming (no pun intended) Hollywood right now, a lot of people are falling into pro-ana/ED territory.

The poster is saying Zendaya and Timmy have always been like this though and are somehow in this collage because Zendaya is tall which makes her proportions look skinnier and supposedly Timmy is a skinny looking twink(?) 😭idk

u/thecatunderthebed 15h ago

Chalamet is def on glp1, we all know that’s all that’s in his baby mama’s fridge.

u/Fabulous-Duck-4177 15h ago

nobody copes harder than an ariana grande fan

u/Revxmaciver 14h ago

Who is the blonde in the second picture and who is the guy next to Timmy?

for research purposes...

u/Dismal-Vanilla1878 16h ago

No idea as well, although all of them seem to be on that 'Super Thin/Possibly Anorexic' scale, so maybe that's what ties them together?

u/Its_Dot 16h ago

I thought so too but Zendaya does not make any sense, she is I would say "fit skinny", not "I can count every bone skinny"

u/Technical_Feelings 16h ago

Edit: Peter’s unseen neighbor. I’m not on the show.
OP feels that the public is putting more responsibility on Ariana Grande to set a healthy example for kids after recent extreme thinness. OC does not feel that Zendaya and Timothee should be in the same category as the others because of the qualities mentioned.

u/sosarahtonin 16h ago

Ariana Grande has been at the center of eating disorder conversations because of her dramatic weight loss. She refuses to publicly acknowledge that anything is wrong, this has shifted the conversation to the impact of her being in the public eye and possibly influencing kids to also develop eating disorders. The OOP is trying to say that this issue is bigger than just Ariana Grande by highlighting other incredibly (possibly dangerously so) thin celebrities, but the person replying that they not only included those celebrities but also erroneously included Zendaya and Timothee for being regular thin unlike the others included Meg Out

u/Foreign_Pound4766 16h ago

Who is that 2nd from top right?

u/Tsukiko615 15h ago

Alex Consani or so google tells me. She’s a model

u/UrsineBasterd 16h ago

Who is the alien in the 2nd picture lol

u/Snoo17579 4h ago

Alex Consani. She's one of the few trans model in the industry

I feel like 95% of these posts require you to be perpetually online on other apps to understand

u/IHateSerging 15h ago

Who’s the blonde girl?

u/DetectiveUnited1036 15h ago

Hollywood beauty standards:

u/doratoreadora 15h ago

Fair point, actually. I think we focused on Ariana more because she's clearly not a great person inter-socially, besides being ultra-rich like these others.

u/glockguy34 14h ago

idk who half these people are tbh

u/NoWestern460 14h ago

Celine Dion has stiff person syndrome..

u/imnottheoneipromise 14h ago

I notice that in every pic except Demi Moore (only because her dress is covering it) and zendaya, you can actually see their ribs and sternum in these pics. But that doesn’t necessarily mean someone is too lean.

u/Opening-Pianist-3691 14h ago

Ariana Grande is getting a ton of backlash for how overly thin she’s become because people are saying it’s bad for her fanbase of mostly young girls to see. The original post is about how the dangerously skinny look is appearing on more celebrities than just Ariana. The point being that it’s not just her perpetuating this.

The comment is saying that Zendaya and Timothee do not fit this description because they’re naturally skinny people. Zendaya has always been tall and skinny. She hasn’t lost a bunch of weight or become unhealthily thin.

u/TheGreatestKon 14h ago

Y'all who is that girl over zendaya in the picutre

u/WholeOk4355 13h ago

Days literally looks so healthy compared

u/Constant-Mood9738 13h ago

We all know someone who look like Zendaya and Timothy. Celine she been skins bones her whole life all the rest has either got the shot or eating disorder

u/shaunrundmc 13h ago

Zendaya and Timmy are naturally slender and haven't done anything to get more thin.

Ariana Grande was also naturally slender and shouldn't have needed Ozempic but still did it an looks ill. So did all the other people in that screenshot but Chalomet and Zendaya

u/witherin 13h ago

Hey I don’t think any of them currently have a fashion doll being sold in the toy isle besides Arianna. She is being marketed to young girls.

u/CrispySushi 13h ago

And Celine is very sick

u/williamchase88 13h ago

Timmy has also put on a lot of weight recently. He’s still thin, but he’s definitely filling out

u/hipkat13 12h ago

It’s like the heroin chic of the 90’s :-/

u/PeaceEmotional8962 11h ago

Also celine dion is sick. She should not be included in that line up.

Word,

u/XXMoody_boixx 11h ago

Clock it

u/pythonidaae 10h ago

Zendaya isn't underweight. She's a healthy thin. Celine Dion is physically ill and that's public knowledge.

Ariana grande is more emaciated than all of these people and claims to be healthy. So it's dangerous

u/Useful-Soup8161 9h ago

Zendaya is just doll and slim. Same with Somber, he’s like 6’5. Celine Dion has stiff persons syndrome, which I don’t know a whole lot about but I assume it can have some effect on your body’s appearance.

u/BinkusBonkus23 7h ago

I don’t think Celine Dion belongs here either. She’s literally got an autoimmune disorder and she can’t control what she looks like because of it

u/AesopsFabler 6h ago

Those guys are just skinny and Zendaya is thin but doesn’t look emaciated

u/cclancaster13 4h ago

Sombr is arguably just a tall twink.

u/consequentlydreamy 3h ago

Nah both of them said they don’t eat on set or something to that degree. It just came off really risky given how long scenes and recording can go on for .

u/TSLBestOfMe 16h ago

Blaming Ariana for body dismorphia while there are countless others with it and simultaneously lumping in actors who simply are tall or skinning in order to prove that HoLlYwOoD is hurting our children.

u/999samus 16h ago

Majority of the people in this picture are the result of using ozempic (I think) Ariana grande is one of the most famous examples of what can happen if you use this... Drug, can I call ozempic drug? The point is she's not the only one using it, looks like there are people saying she's giving a bad image to kids that later on will wanna use ozempic due to dismorphia, this image shows she's not the only one but Zendaya and Timothy chalamet got tangled into the situation only for being tall and thin respectively, they don't use ozempic as far as we know, Megan out

u/Spaghett8 16h ago

Celebrities who are dangerously underweight/ anorexic.

The joke is that Zendaya and Timothee don’t belong and are healthy though skinny.

Personally, while I think that applies to Timothee, Zendaya is likely underweight as well, and has talked about “forgetting to eat” and just “not eating” which isn’t a good relationship with food.

u/Constant-Mood9738 13h ago

But a lot of people especially women, forget to eat heck I can go a couple of days without food.

u/Ecom_Student 16h ago

Who is 1st and 3rd on top row? For ‘research’ purposes.

u/KylieIceon 16h ago

Zoe Kravitz and Alexa Demie.

u/ReasonableRun11 15h ago

am i crazy or do women’s ribcages just show on their chests when they get older?? like that is a normal thing, it doesn’t mean they have eating disorders.

not saying that any of the women in this picture do or don’t, but i think people freak out when they see ribs on chests but that’s a natural part of aging when the boobs begin to drop a bit.

u/Vegetable-Machine314 15h ago

Celine has been getting skinny a while. I doubt it’s due to weight loss drugs and more with age along with heath issues.

u/PixelPeach123 15h ago

Every person there belongs. And no one blames just Ariana. Hollywood has a sickness. A mental one. That is reflected physically.
