I got admission to UET Peshawar in Electrical Engineering (Computing & AI) as well as IMSciences and some other unis

I initially gave priority to UET and IMSciences, I ended up paying the fee for UET Peshawar and ignoring IMSciences because of the saturation in CS (I was going to go for a computer related field in Imsciences)

My first day at UET is on Monday and now I'm having second thoughts. I've talked to a few UET graduates, and whenever I ask them about UET Peshawar, they usually say it's "meh" or "mid." While Imsciences graduates are the opposite

I'm really confused about what I'm doing with my life. I don't particularly love any specific field so I don't know what I should choose. I chose Electrical Engineering at UET partly because it seems like a stable option, especially regarding government jobs (my brother says it's not idk kon sahi hae 😭), but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake

I've also heard that some seats at IMSciences might become vacant after MDCAT, so I'm wondering if I might have a chance of getting in there again if I don't lik UET

What should I do? Should I stick with UET Peshawar and give it a chance, or should I try to move to IMSciences if seats become available?

My main goal is to get a god government job. I like stability

Am I the only one noticing all this “development” and beautification around Peshawar problematic while our healthcare and education systems are crying for attention?

Hospitals have shortages of beds and ICU capacity, doctors are being pushed into exhausting calls and thousands of children remain out of school but apparently the priority is making Peshawar look pretty so a BS economics graduate from a below avg university who now happens to be the CM can say, “Dekhein Peshawar ko kitna khubsurat bana diya.”

Sohail Afridi,Peshawar doesn’t need more decoration. It needs functioning hospitals,more doctors,ICU beds and serious education reforms.
I can tolerate spending 5–10 extra minutes in traffic. But where do I take my patient when there isn’t an ICU bed?
