That's space for a lot of batteries 😱

I gotta imagine this person has kids. Nothing soaks up batteries like kids toys. (That being said, rechargeables?)
It's been years since I used a D cell, and decades since I used a C cell. What the hell are you powering?
If you're a time traveler, just a heads up that we invented light emitting diodes in the 90's, started using them for light in the 2000's, and they use way less power than incandescent bulbs. So put away the 4 D cell billy club Maglite, go to r/flashlight , and pick up something the size of candle that can burn your retinas off from 80 yards. Oh, and it uses 2 triple-As.

Self-inflating air mattress for camping, and a lighted tent, for the C’s and D’s, those are the extras from the packs

I have a wall clock that takes 4 C batteries. And it's relatively new, it's one of the ones that shows Alexa timers on it.
I looked up rechargable C batteries and discovered that they just make "sleeves" that turn AA batteries into the size of C's.

Seriously! It's like a treasure chest for batteries, but it can also turn into a black hole for them if you're not careful.
