6 less gigs of Ram, 8 less terra flops of processing power, the list goes on. You would need to seriously compromise the game and it would run like crap.

Beyond that, there's also no financial incentive for them to do this.

There is certainly something wrong with them to be so divorced from reality, yes. I hope to win the lottery but it hasn't happened yet, lol. Still has a better chance then a PS4 version of GTA VI though.

lol really? I get being tight on money but this is what’s holding the gaming industry back. Same with the series s. We should be pushing the boundaries and adding features not placating to old systems. Imagine if every game cube game had to work on the n64.

Series s has the same CPU as the series x and ps5 (8 core amd zen2). ps4/pro's cpu (8core jaguar) was anemic before it came out. zen2 is like 5-6x the capability of jaguar.

Right but the X runs at a higher clock speed. Beyond that the biggest performance gap is the GPU. it’s literally 12 teraflops vs 4… and 16gb RAM vs 10 GB. That’s a hefty difference. Just saying it does hold it back

The clock difference is quite small, measurable, but not meaningful in most cases
