Going to a party when my social battery is out feels like pulling out my eyeballs. I get that some people don't experience this but it is real.
However, one can still be a good friend by planning ones day to avoid back to back social events so that you social battery isn't out at your friends party.
This is so odd to me. I have been at parties where I literally know nobody except my SO. I’ve never felt like pulling out my eyeballs lmao. One time my wife had to run a student organization event at her grad school, I literally met zero people before. Ended up helping the deans of her school run the piña colada bar, without knowing at all that’s who they were. She was horrified lmao. But it all started with the question “what’re you guys up to, want a hand?”
Sometime I wonder if you people interested in anyone but yourselves. I think if you’re honest, a lot of you will say no.
