Part of growing up is realizing that you get what you give, and that everyone is living their own life. You can't sit there expecting a friend group to adopt you.
Social skills are something that need to be practiced, and too many people are hiding behind their phones claiming to be introverts. Well, you can't sit on a couch for 5 years and expect to run a marathon, just like you can't recluse and then expect to enjoy parties.
