What's the deal with people wanting to be taller? Makes no sense to me why you'd want to be perceived as taller? Do people suddenly get taller overnight with these and think people won't notice or is it like you have a one time chance before you meet a new group of people so everyone just think your as tall as you are? What does being 2 inches taller give anyone anyways?

Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it less of a reality for other people. I also have never been insecure about my height, but I'm tall. There is a lot of social pressure on looks in a lot of different directions. People tend to focus on the things they feel insufficient about. And a lot of people can be very cruel about it, especially in school. It should be clear for you to see how someone who is made fun of for being short would be insecure about it throughout their life.

I am a woman. I am 5'5". I want to be taller cause I can't reach the upper cabinets in my kitchen that would be incredibly convenient to be able to use easily. Also ladders scare me and step stools make me nervous.

Not my wife tossing me a bag of pasta at before dinner because I put the shopping away and she can't reach the sauce base as it's too far back in the shelves...

That made me chuckle, your wife is funny.

I read this in the voice of Amy Poelher doing Christopher Walken. It’s gold.

And here I am in a casual wide leg stance leaning on my back foot to hide my height a little bit without slouching to be closer to everyone's eye level.

Theres no logical reason for it unless you play basketball or need to get something off a high shelf, but humans are shallow and there are studies that show tall people do better in life.

Why do people wear makeup, or fake lashes, or paint their nails?

Not any different

I'm already fairly tall and I kinda wanna try these lol. Just wanna see what it'd be like to be a smidge taller.

Those two inches make me 5 foot which means I have a better chance of reaching the items on the second from the top shelf at the grocery store :,)

Why do many women want to appear more beautiful and wear makeup and want to have large breasts?
It's appealing to the opposite sex. That can prove surprisingly useful.

Yeah but the foot thing is pretty obvious when you take your shoes off, which is more likely than having to put off your makeup or take out your fake breasts during casual hangouts

still better than nothing.
Plus, by the time you reach the point where you're taking off your shoes during casual hangouts, you'd typically at least have became friends with said person.

Depends. Going swimming or roller/ice skating or just any sweaty activity where you might change after in a shared lockerroom would require you to take your shoes off. Totally depends on your hobbys. You could also be invited to someones home as an acquaintance or a friend of a friend though

14.5% of adult men in the US are 6ft or taller. 60% of fortune 500 CEOs meet or exceed this height. So to answer your question - money, women, happiness.
