If you win too much at a casino they kick you out because they (literally) hold all the cards in that situation

You can't lose if you dont play

That's not at all what the post is saying. If you count cards, and they suspect you of counting cards, they can back you off.

There is a technique called card counting where you look at what cards have already been dealt, to better guess what cards may come up next. It gives you a better chance of winning. If you start winning a lot because you're doing that, they'll consider it cheating and kick you out. Something like that.

They don't consider it cheating. They just recognize that the more you play, the more they'll lose, and as such, they choose to exercise their right to ban any player for any (non-discriminatory) reason.

Card counting is 100% legal at casinos, and kicking card counters out is also 100% legal.

Card counting is a legitimate blackjack strategy which uses basic statistics to give you mildly better odds of winning by knowing how much the next card might be. Casinos obviously don't like losing the edge so they have various methods to prevent it, such as double decks, shuffling midway through the deck, and so on

In case you don't know how to play blackjack: You get 2 cards, and the dealer gets 1 face up and 1 face down card. You need to get closer to 21 (as the sum of your cards) than the dealer without going over. The common dealer strat is to hit (pick another card) until the sum is 17 or more.

Normally the odds of blackjack are slightly against you. If you keep track of what cards have been played and what cards remain: you can tilt the odds slightly to your favor.

Using slightly adjusted odds and good strategy means you can win money at a casino... casinos don't let winners play because it's "bad for business." They will throw players out for being too successful.

Casinos capitalize on randomness stacked in their favor.

Problem is, randomness doesn't exist(other than maybe quantum mechanics) and with enough math and shit you can tip the scales to your side. This obviously makes the business less profitable.

So, they ban math and shit
