When Trump was in the midst of his criminal trials between his two terms, people were commenting on how part of his entourage included a woman who was carrying around a mobile printer in order to print articles that praised Trump on the fly. Pretty sure that was her.
I honestly doubt much of it is him. I mean, it’s almost certainly reflective of his actual opinions, yes, but be honest, do you really think an 80 y/o geriatric who’s also a businessman and a president knows how to use his phone well enough or has the time to remain this active in social media? His account is run by a social media manager, I’m sure of it.
At this point, I don’t know what to think. If there’s one thing you can’t accuse Trump of, it’s being passive. He’s hyperactive. Every day, something new pops up. It’s possible that someone is running his account. It’s even possible that he does so himself.
I’d imagine he does oversee his social media activity and actively shapes it to his desire (so, again, still reflective of his own opinions), but I do still think someone else is running it for him. The sheer volume is what makes me feel that way.
His style online is also rather consistent. Outrageous and idiotic, but still consistent. For a man his age, I’d expect some inconsistency in this regard, so again, this supports the idea that someone else is running it for him professionally.
There is an entire team behind this😂 even with texts he doesn't really type it himself. If you saw the videos during the election, he basically just read it to his team, and they work on what to change

I first got reminded of the "Strait of Trump" thing he posted about once, and then that 2024 campaign video of his head blocking out the sun like the solar eclipse going on at the time popped up in my head.

No one disputes the specific money laundering partners in that specific deal were specifically in league with the specific sub-unit of the IRGC tasked with acquiring guidance components.

No, you just do not understand the political dynamics of Iran.
Previously the IRGC was a powerful, influential political actor, at parity with other forces within the government, and subordinate to the supreme leader.
This war has wiped that out almost completely. The IRGC is now in full control, has the "supreme" leader on a leash, and has the ability to dictate the single most important economic choke point on this planet. It is positively euphoric at how the war has proceeded.
Oh, and likewise, none of this is in any serious dispute by anyone. You are dying on a hill that was never really defended.
The IRGC is not in control of its economy, the Strait of Hormuz, its ability to conduct commerce, its own military, its neighbors, its former foreign puppet organizations, its infrastructure, or its future. The IRGC has less agency over what happens in their own country today than it did when it was a "lesser" component of the entire governmental apparatus.

None of this advances a free Iran - this is all about the external threat posed by the IR. The external threat posed by the IR has been weakened - yes - but this doesn't benefit or change things for people inside Iran. Their grip on power, internally, has not changed
