Class Question MEE 383

For anyone who has taken MEE 383, do you recommend buying the MatLab or is Octave good enough for the class?

He’ll likely to use MATLAB. It’s usually the preferred program since most professors/courses will use it as you take more upper level courses.

I will say you don’t have to purchase Matlab. There’s an online version that you can use on matlabs website. It’s free up to a certain amount of hours per month. I never hit the limit using it for his class.
