I was banned from MensRights a year ago because I posted an article which contained some controversial political content which I didn't check. The content was something related to the cultural war regarding sexuality and immigration, and mods banned me because they were afraid the content was political and would get the sub in trouble.

I only made a few posts on the subreddit, but I deleted all of my posts because I got banned from another subreddit for participating on this subreddit.

It's been over a year and half and I don't know how to get unbanned. I got banned when you still received your ban message in the mail which is now an archived section. I've messaged the mods here, but I haven't gotten any answers.

I recently moved to Maryland, and I had a pretty weird experience at the gym that I'm curious to hear people's opinions on.

I was working out and there was a woman using a machine that I needed. We had already been talking a little, and honestly, she seemed like she was actively flirting with me.

I asked her how much longer she had on the machine. She said she was about to use it, so I asked if she minded if I got a few sets in before she used it. I told her I only needed four sets.

She said, "Don't worry, I'm going to the bathroom," so I went ahead and did my four sets.

Later, as I was getting ready to leave the gym, management came up to me and said they needed to talk to me because a woman had reported that I made her uncomfortable.

Apparently, she claimed that some guy told her I had only done one set and that I was really just trying to talk to her.

I was confused because that's not what happened. So management and I watched the security footage.

The video showed exactly what I said happened. I asked about the machine, asked if I could get four sets in, she said she was going to the bathroom, and I did my four sets.

After watching the footage, management basically agreed that my version of events checked out.

The weirdest part was when she came back to the gym afterward. She wouldn't even look at me. I wasn't angry or trying to confront her—I just thought the whole situation was extremely awkward, especially after the footage showed that I had been telling the truth.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I wasn't trying to harass her or pressure her. I simply asked about the machine and whether I could get a few sets in.

Now that I live in Maryland, maybe I'm just learning the gym culture here 😂.

Has anyone else had something like this happen at the gym? How do you approach someone respectfully without having the situation completely misunderstood?

Recently, I've noticed that I receive no results when I search the subreddit. This doesn't seem to be the case with any other subreddit. What's going on?

It's actually unreal. It feels like there's feminazis just staked out, watching for any posts they can report to the Reddit mods like a bunch of snipers, and the subreddit mods try to take them down before the sub gets nuked. I completely understand why they're taking even popular posts down.

I learned to word posts properly because I got "warned" simply for pointing out that women use social leverage to harm men in society. Lol

Why do the moderators of r/MensRights remove any discussion of women’s flaws? I find it insulting, aren't women human too? Yes, it's relevant to men's rights because women abuse their power, and feminism brainwashes and corrupts them, at men's expense. It's important for we as a society to acknowledge women’s flaws, else we risk creating unrealistic expectations for women and any interaction with them.

And the comments are all celebrating it, praising her.

I'm so sick of being gaslit with "feminism is just about equality!". No the fuck it isn't. I'm not a misogynist: I just refuse to apologize for having a penis.

Apparently this is justified because women have to fear they might be raped or murdered when visiting a man, so men should be afraid, too, to make it even. And since stealing a toaster isn't as bad as raping or murdering him, this behavior is okay.

Is this a problem for anyone else? Usually whenever I post something with an image it gets removed immediately for containing a short link. The auto mod seems like it’s glitched. Is there a workaround?

The people on r/MensRights support those viewpoints thus they up vote the posts and comments. So why do the moderators censor the subreddit's popular views?

Anything we discuss in here always falls on deaf ears to the mainstream. People even consider us as weirdos for stating something which are so apparent.

A lot of male children are mutilated and the world, including men themselves, don't give a flying f-word over us.

Vast majority of crime victims are men, and to make matters worse, it is committed by other men themselves(although stats are somewhat biased against men).

People fight for abortion yet no one even considers having men opt out.

No one likes the male body. A woman likes another woman more than a man she's not attracted to. Most men would rarely do the same.

Women always treat us like crap and get away with it. Have us say something and the whole world is up in arms.

I've honestly tried talking a therapist, only if he'd stop lamenting over how women are disadvantaged and totally overlook the things I've said. Boy did I regret it.

Isn't it awful how nature has you born as a disadvantaged freak whose life doesn't matter a dime? I know political factors like feminism has somewhat added fuel to the fire, but that doesn't make evolution's role justified.

Why does this have to be the reality that we're born in, of all the realities that were possible?

Some Luddite moron little dictator banned me over at MensRights because he had an issue with me using AI to produce the music I posted (which was 100% on topic).

No warning or anything.

Just "poof"...

And posts were removed in spite of getting quite a few upvotes.

Why is it nearly every subreddit has to get ruined by morons like that?

This is why I rarely ever post on Reddit.

I feel like I can spot a ragebait with misinformation every other day. It's crazy how most people don't read the article provided in the links and just agree/disagree without knowing any context whatsoever. When you try to confront the OP about the misinformation, a bunch of random people who have never even read the article would jump onto you and ask you questions that are clearly answered by the linked article.

It's insane how people can be manipulated so easily even when the evidence and information was a click away.

I made a comment on the mensrights subreddit and then got a message saying I was permanently banned from r/r*pe MINUTES AFTER cause apparently the menstights sub is "abusive" and "harass" their subreddit (idk if this has some truths to it cause I'm barely on r/m.r.) honestly I have no clue why, or even that I joined so ye

I remember when this sub started it was about the experiences of men because of the lack of support and equality. Now it seems to just be about women get this or women get that. It feels way less about actually supporting each other and now only about complaining.
