Over 350 hours playing since S1 and I’ve only ever seen 2 gold keys (not counting cryo vaults) and I lost both of them before I could extract them.

What’s the best way to find them? I’m constantly in pinwheel red room and haven’t seen one there. What’s the % chance superior keys turn into prestige?

5k isn't even like a good kit, just take it off so i can run random free kits solo cryo, it serves no purpose, let me solo cryo every day

I love this game & have put over 300h in it during S1, I would play more regularly but I don't wanna bother with how garbage of an experience Windows is.

99% of my games work just fine on my Manjaro install, can whoever decided to block the game at Bungie get his shit together and stop being an ass about Linux support, thanks.

Damnit the soundtrack has been on my work playlist since the game came out. It just sounds unlike anything I've ever heard and is so crazily atmospheric. The weird glitch/techno effects and weird vocals used to create the raw tribal rhythms just drives the tension so well. I also love in some parts how the music kind of mimics certain i.r.l. sounds such as data transferring, an old dial up connection, or the mechanisms in a 3d printer whizzing around. Gawddamn I want more music like this. Please if somebody could recommend me something in the same ballpark I would be forever gratefull.

To the runners I met last night, I’m sure their shoulders are sore from doing the most of the carries, but we had some solid runs.

Just wiped a whole gurple team off spawn in outpost. Don’t push up stairs when you don’t have eyes on the top.

We did end up wiping lobby. Oh boy, this was fun when it happened though.

Got pushed by entire lobby in Flight, my two mates down within the first minute of the fight. 11 mins later I couldn’t finish the last purple destroyer… fun fight though

A very hard lesson was learned here by this Rook

Using voice comms here would have worked out completely differently for them; instead of being instantly sent back to the lobby, they would have been sent along to the Algae Ponds key room that we had opened for some nice leftovers. Instead bro chose to rat in a corner, and act surprised when I opened fire.

And it's not like I would have murdered him regardless; if a Rook rolls up and says he just wants scraps or whatever we usually see them along, usually pointing out the location of some bodies that still contain loot. We do give them a fair warning though, that any attempts at tomfoolery will be met with them being sent back to the great blue slurry factory in the sky.

TL;DR - Use your comms, a 50% chance of survival is better than a 100% chance of being sent back to the lobby.

First off, I suck at the game.

That said I'm noticing a pattern with the people I get paired up with where they find people and rush directly forward.

Team on 2nd level, rush up the stairs.

Team in Hollar, rush up the stairwell 2 deep.

Team on an outpost rooftop, rush them by running out in the open.

Lets try and flank maybe? Lets go around and attack from behind. lets wait until they leave. Lets shoot and run to get them out of position. Idk anything other than yell and run straight at them?

Not to mention these rush plays are often not called out. You are just expected to follow the person talking the most on the team.

There is a time and place to rush for sure but constantly getting into 3 v 1 situations sucks.

we tried to kill the people doing upper complex but they got us in the end, they had great gear. This was a highlight for my aging hands though.

We got pushed in Ranked on Perimeter last night. Vandal blasts through a door with thief following suit, downs a teammate. I move in to the room to quickly capitalize on location info, and I see an sig jam fuzz on the corner of the room. I offload half of my Drrvsh clip onto it before realizing it’s a visual glitch. Unfortunately it’s too late to down one of the two runners clearly then visible on thermal, on the opposite side of the room.

The type of thing that makes you feel two thoughts -one: it’s not my fault I lost my fight; but then two: that is an expensive glitch to have in game at this point. Thoughts?

lack of maps and content will suck but there’s always going to be a small number of players who like what already exists and want to keep playing it. I am one of those people. I will always enjoy rook 1v3ing or cryo archive runs.

Every time I no-reg somebody, I am tempted to drop the game instantly. Lost a run to mizzy no-regs earlier and just lost one to goddamn Firestorm no-reg’ing a destroyer at point blank range. All my shit gone, not due to skill problems, but because the netcode decreed it so.

“Oh the mizzy ones were because you were out of range” then make that clearer to the user. simple fix, either an indicator for a hit being out of range or a sound or SOMETHING to clarify that I was just two pixels too far for the shotgun pellets to count.
