PVP How popular is pvp?
Hi everyone. I used to be obsessed with this game but stopped playing once they announced an end to pvp content. Recently came back on a whim and I have still been finding matches quite quickly. Is there still a dedicated pvp fan base despite the lack of content?

Humor/Fluff My Yasuo is a bit strong this game
Once I saw that power, I knew he’d be strong, but this is crazy. I could’ve gotten stronger but I was down to 1 card in hand.

Path Question How essential are Monthly Challenges to progression?
I returned to the game about a month ago after quitting around when PVP stopped getting updates. I'm having a lot of fun, but I'm really curious about the pace of progression as I get into the latter stages of the game.
I think I'm in the mid-game. I have Starforged Gauntlets (no idea where they came from), Swain's Raven Army (bought), Perfect Hex Core (bought), and Harmless Scarecrow (Glory). Between Aurelion Sol, Swain, Viktor, Viego, and SB Teemo, it seems like I should be able to clear all of the available adventures in time, and the Weekly Nightmares are no problem. So I'm having fun.
But I can also see that Monthly Challenges give really good rewards. I know I need to keep at least 600 Glory on hand in case I see Searing Brilliance or relics for champions I like, but in addition to that it looks like Platinum Chests and region-specific star chests are valuable.
But man I absolutely loathe Monthly Challenges. There is nothing more infuriating than spending 5 minutes on a decent duel then another 2 minutes in fucking loading screens. Do I have to? Can I reasonably progress to getting a few 5-6* champions, get Epic epics, beat Zoe with a few champions, etc, without grinding these things out?
Edit: Thanks everyone, sounds like the consensus is that Monthlies are skippable as long as you're doing the Weeklies, but that they do provide good rewards. Happy with that, I might just leave them alone most of the time and dip in when I feel like it or need to buy two Relics in a row.

Path of Champions Any tips on beating Swain+Teemo as Janna?
They counter her so hard. Her whole deal is drawing cards. I get wrecked by the spores before I can mount a counter attack.
My Janna is 5*, missing her nova. Been trying all sorts of relic combos. Though Echoing Spirit+ Searing brilliance + flex has been my go to so far.

Path Question First 6* ?
Just picked up PoC 2 weeks ago, been enjoying it so far ...
Wondering what my first 6* should be between mf and swain ?
I was thinking swain since I'm close to maxing his upgrades, but I can already clear anything with him besides zoe for now.
MF would mostly be bcs I don't have any good bilgewater up and running, but I don't have any epic relics that are good on her.
Her 6* power sounds good but it feels like I'll need her whole constellation maxed for it to be effective

Path Question Spirit Blossom Runes?
One of the stars for Spirit Blossom champs is to attach a rune. How does this work? There seems to be a whole new resource to collect around this star, but I can’t see how to get it, or how to get runes to attach

Path of Champions 10 star Zoe challenge
Hi yall, I was playing the 10 star Zoe challenge because it was offering nova crystals but then I got to champ 15/66 and it started offering a gold star vessel, which I dont think is worth the frustrations and time spent. For those who have completed her challenge with most of the champs, do the reward get better or worse? Thanks

Game Feedback why was urf mode and duo mode removed from friendly matches?
why remove a fun game mode for years like it never existed?
seriously, no excuses about player count because i only want to play these fun game modes in a FRIENDLY CUSTOM BATTLE with someone in the friends list. not an actual queue.
why couldn’t they make these modes available to play with friends? i forever mourn URF and the duo mode. mostly urf.

Path of Champions Aatorx (3 stars - No epic relics) vs The Dragonsire 6.5 - Titans of Runeterra
Hi guys, Here is a run I did with Aatrox against 6.5 The Dragonsire for anyone who wants to do it for the requirement run without using epic relics but honestly, Aatrox is really bad at 3 stars.
Relics: Arcane Comet - Archangel's Staff - Guardian Angel.
Just survive and eliminate the worst enemy until you build a strong board. I find this setup with these relics more consistent in winning than other setups especially in first half of the map but with (Cloude Drake) and (Elder Dragon) you are going to need some luck.
Anyway, Enjoy the run
Edit: I checked the game and The Dragonsire is just 6 stars so don't mind the aditional (0.5) 😄

Path of Champions As a new player, path of champions kinda sucks
First of all you're forced to pick jinx for your first mission, which isn't good already because there's like 100+ champions on there. As a league player I'd rather play my favorite champ tbh. But there's a reason apparently. Because Jinx is aggro, but not just aggro. Turbo aggro. You don't even have to put down units to win, just spam random bullshit from 1 star on.
Apparently the devs intended for aggro to be king, because everywhere, no matter what you play, you have to build aggro. If you encounter an aggro opponent you're just dead if you didn't build aggro into your deck even if you pick a non-aggro playstyle deck.
Conversly, encounters like Nautilus suffer from "oh he didn't even do anything and I've won" syndrome because now your deck IS aggro and now the AI IS the one who can't put down any board presence before they die.
Personal experience examples: Elder dragon; won because I used fiora's exodia bs to cheat my way to victory (wasn't even able to use elder dragon at all). Kayle; despite being "easy", enemies always cleared my board presence before I could even buff and play my units in a fair manner. (unlike jinx and garen, who really are just easy)
Proposed solution: Enemy encounters and rewards should be dynamic based on the champion type picked. No aggro if the champion isn't aggro, more control tools or early healing for those that need it etc
