In the bone (sliced in half) with bread

It appear roasted.

One menu shows: Capers, parsley, lemon. Served with baguette.

Another: fennel pollen, espelette pepper, parsley salad, pickled mustard seeds. Served with baguette, optional cognac.

Portions may be on the lighter side, but from the looks of it, they make up for it in ambience, and variety.

I was shocked reading your title at first , I thought you were getting bone marrow surgery and looking for a donor😭😭

I thought the same!

I was thinking they were scheduled for a marrow biopsy and wanted to know what to expect haha. (I’m a med lab tech and assist with them in the hospital with the pathologist)

Could you provide some evidence that you bothered to look first?

Why does that even matter? People can ask anything they want online. If you don't want to answer just jog on 👍

It's a mod being a douchcanoe. No wonder people hate this subreddit

Normally when someone breaks "Rule 7: No Uncivil Behaviour" in r/edmonton they get banned. But I'm a moderator and sassin mods is more of a warning since we have inordinate power compared to the average redditor. Please review Rule 7.

And while that's under review, consider "Rule 2: Thou shalt search first!". This motivated my original comment, whereby the OP did not provide evidence that they typed "bone marrow restaurant edmonton" into a search engine. The main recommendations from other redditors in this thread are all contained within top 10 results of such a search (even on duck duck go).

e: rule 2, not rule 1.

Maybe they want replies and recommendations from users, not a search engine? This is kind of power trippy

I'd argue you broke Rule #2 when you replied. Saying "Did you even bother?" is passive aggressive, uncivil behaviour. You could have said: "As per Rule 7, did you check Google first"?

Rule 7 makes zero sense. The Internet is full of questions that could be answered via several different avenues. Sure they could have googled and read reviews/menus but people want to engage in a community and chat to humans - that's what Reddit is about. Chastising them just drives people towards Chat-GPT / Google which is a sad state of affairs.

That's all I'm saying on this. I'm off to touch grass. Peace ✌️

No, we hate lazy, low-effort posts.

This is why I love Edmonton sub. The saltiness. The abruptness. I come for this. Enjoy your drama popcorn gift. Well earned lol
