Asgore's affection towards Toriel is obscessive and romantical, also lasts for quite a while. Affection of The Flowers towards Asgore is that of children towards parant. This line tries to equate the two, but that's just not true.

Flowers (children) have one and only day to interact with Asgore (father) and he just rejects them. The line before that: "...you do know i was just plaing along, right?" tells us that he was just leading them on for his gain, with promise of attention, wich basicaly is emotional abuse.

Their life was that of, quote: "useless flowers", and the moment they could show their love and gratitude to their PARENT they were denied. Yes, parents should give attention to their kids and recieve attention from their kids.

Its absolutely fucked that Toby equated how The Flowers show affection to how Asgor do it. Romantical affection is diferent from child-parant affection, and line that says that affection from children to parants is unasked-for is wrong.

And I sure Toby didnt intend it, but it is what end of chapter 5 implies.

Ralsei is one of if not my least favorite characters in all of deltarune and i feel like people only like him because he's "cute"

First of all this stupid bum doesnt use fireshock on 2 world ending threats (Knight and The Titan) but instead uses it on some fucking 60 damage attack shuriken and then proceeds to NEVER USE IT EVER AGAIN?

Ralsei is EASILY THE WORST party member in all of deltarune, He was useful for chapter 1 only

Noelle is better than ralsei in every way, sleepmist is a better pacify, Noelles heal prayer is even better than ralseis. and noelle unlike ralsei LETS US USE ICESHOCK in life threatening situations

Ralsei has:

The lowest HP
Lowest ATK/Damage
Bad spells (Revivesong is actual garbage, why use heal prayer when you have items that heal way more
Fireshock which he doesnt let us use which would be fine if he let us use it in life threatening situations

Meanwhile Susie has

The highest HP (Excluding my GOAT berdly)
Highest ATK/Damage
Good spells (Scythemare is pretty ok, Rude buster is great, Her heal is genuinely better than ralseis)

All of this makes ralsei just a 16% TP every turn machine, because he does nothing other than defend because he's just a big fat bum

Compared to Berdly

Berdly actually stops holding back when his friends are in danger (In the snowgrave route his attacks become way stronger, revealing he was holding back)
Berdly cares about his friends
berdly is actually strong

Berdly doesnt gatekeep the shit out of information

Ralsei keeps holding back even when his friends are in severe danger and suffering and scared
Ralsei "cares" about his friends (Cares enough to use fireshock on one attack to save susie! Aw man! How nice of ralsei to save susie! Now why didnt you use that against the KNIGHT?)

Ever since chapter 2 he's been acting all cutesy and shit and keeps talking about some "Hey man close your eyes and think about susie's doing" bullshit just so he can have kralsei wholesome moment for a few minutes like omg bro what a bum

Ralsei is generally just a bum because he doesnt use fireshock when it matters

The knight could have a massive weakness to fire and we would NEVER know because this IDIOT refuses to use it

Ralsei follows the prophecy word for word and then complains and cries about the prophecy not changing when he does NOTHING to try and defy it and instead just acts like a bum who only wants to kiss kris and whatever

Ralsei punches himself in the self repeatedly, and then cries about having a black eye, He's just such a loser.

Ralsei thinks that a 60 damage shuriken that could easily just be dodged or healed is worth using fireshock on but not the fucking BRINGER OF THE APOCALPYSE?

Strangely, ralsei becomes 200% more likeable when he has the hat on

Ralsei also in recent chapters is just rude as shit for no reason? He hates on flowery because unlike him, flowery actually tells susie stuff and doesnt gatekeep extremely important information like a chad while the loser ralsei cries "Nooo you cant do that because of the pwophecyyy!!!". FUCK ralsei, i LOVE flowery, ralsei is a bum.

Ralsei KNOWS his power and he knows that if he wanted to he COULD burn everything down in an instant and he could instantly stop the roaring and yet he DOESNT because he'd rather act all cutesy around kris and susie instead

He does say that if he stops following the rules everything falls apart, yet he refuses to acknowledge the fact that if everything does infact fall apart, WE. the soul. can revert it by just pressing the Load button to revert time. if ralsei actually worked with US. everything would be solved, The roaring could be prevented, The knight would be defeated, Lancer and aqua get to meet, Yay! But he DOESNT DO THAT BECAUSE HES A BUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! I cannot WAIT for chapter 6 and ralseis bitchass gets replaced by noelle; An actually USEFUL healer.

Noelle is better than ralsei in EVERY way. Higher HP. Higher ATK. Better spells, Higher MAG, literally EVERYTHING about noelle is better than ralsei

so i watched this 1.5 hour long video about Asriel Knight which has successfully converted me from a Dess Knighter to an Asriel Knighter and there is one thing mentioned in that video that wouldn't make sense to me if Asriel isn't the knight.

in chapter 2, if you go to the door of Asriel's room and choose to not peek inside, you get the text "(You have the feeling you wouldn't learn anything.)"

in the knight battle in chapter 3, if you check the knight, you get the text "But Kris couldn't learn anything."

if the knight isn't Asriel, then why are these two pieces of dialogue worded so similarly?

There's a lot of Noelle Knight evidence, a lot of it being top-tier evidence. But let's be real, everyone doesn't care about that, the first thought is "How will Noelle Knight even work logistically, narratively and thematically?" so for now I'll be discussing that.

Let's talk about it.

Noelle has some weird dissociative tendencies. They appear a LOT on the Weird Route, anyone who played it knows that. But it's not something we gave Noelle with dark magic or something. Noelle also has extremely weird violent tendencies. She has been shown in the Weird Route to kill people who get in her away and then trying to self-justify it and dissociating, like killing the Addison for the Freeze Ring, this self-justifying is also from Noelle herself, this was before we even put the Thorn Ring on her. (and again, these violent tendencies also appear outside of the Weird Route)

These weird tendencies will definitely need to be challenged by the end of the game, I doubt the game is going to close off with these Noelle traits being left unchallenged and unresolved. And I really dislike the "Susie will talk Noelle out of everything!" theory. Noelle is a main character on the same level as Susie, it would be really lame if her main arc is being the powerless princess being saved by the buff hero Susie! I really want Noelle to be the powerful one, like the game implies with Queen that she's uniquely strong.

And all this directly ties to her motive, which is escapism. The Weird Route gives us a new look on Noelle, that her whole life is a nothingburger, a boring, straightforward path, and she desperately wants to **escape** from it, to be **free**. And again, that's not Weird Route exclusive, Noelle says in the Normal Route to Susie that she really thought about "leaving"

And that's why she approaches her violent side, the Knight, and then creates Dark Fountains for a temporary break, a fantasy place, where she can escape her boring life. However, that also means she has to be violent to try to stop anyone taking away the Fountains from her. But then, when she turns back to just a Noelle, she forgets everything that happened.

I think this is a very satisfying option narratively, and thematically, as it ties 2 main themes of Deltarune together - escapism and freedom (also Noelle's theme, Lost Girl, has the freedom motif...)

I don’t think it’s real myself (he just completed Air Riders for crying out loud), but for argument’s sake, if there was a Smash game (not SSBU Switch 2 edition, but a full new game) revealed on Wednesday, what chapters would be eligible for major (fighters, stages, bosses, remixes, etc.) content?

But we also know that Toby planned this for a LONG time, to the point that by 2016, he had clear ideas for Ralsei, Flowery and their dynamic with each other. So I’m wondering if that could have an effect on anything like how Greninja and Byleth were able to circumvent their issues. Why do I bring this up? Because from the sans mii outfit reveal, we know that Sakurai and Toby know each other personally, so some insider information is possible. How likely this is to allow content from Chapters 3 onwards, I don’t know.

Refardless, given how Sora released in 2021, my best bet would be if Deltarune was represented, I would assume be mostly from Chapters 1 and 2, as 2021 or 2022 would be when this development would reasonably start (ignoring the Gigantes in the room)

Asgore has been ejaculating in the bathroom after toriel said she wanted to break up, one of the semen stayed and like became ralsei, that would explain why he looks like asriel and since semen is alive isnt really a darkener, maybe asgore ejaculated into kri's socks that he walks around in and thats why when he enters a dark world ralsei follows him around, dont know if it has been mentioned before but yeah thats my theory
