ikr i really want new series and yet people on r/mysterydungeon really like having sky remaster. i mean i get it that Explorer of Sky is masterpiece, but i really want gen 7 8 9

chapters 3 and 4 were announced in the Nintendo direct on april 2nd and it released 2 months later on June 4th. depending on where the next direct is and when chapter 6 is expected to release, we might get some news. but I'm not confident.
nintendo directs are usually in february, june and september (2025 ND was an exception bc of the nintendo switch 2) and since chapters 6 will be shorter than 5, it's not unrealistic to believe it'll release in less than a year. so, we might get news in February 2027.
chapter 7 is honestly my biggest concern since it'll probably be very long and will include side B, so it might take longer than a year.
if it released on the 10th anniversary, I would not be surprised.
Oh... I honestly dont remember that I only started getting into Deltarune with Ch3 and 4 I played 1 and 2 mind you and was a fan I just wasn't caught up on the stuff that happened in that in between era. I thought it was released a few weeks before ch3 not 2 months before?
I'm sorry to say that it's not gonna be good. Level-5's use of AI recently has led to several quality issues in their other games because they replaced so many of their own employees with AI. They're fully leaning into the grift.
I'd switch out Professor Layton with any other neglected IP since Level 5 is not only so terribly mismanaged but AI is so ingrained into their workflow that it makes me not want to buy their games
I am so worried about that remake, it might be good but I am dreading if its not (or if it does somthing stupid like retcon the existence of Majora's Mask) PLEASE NINTENDO LET ME HAVE THIS...
It's only been about 2 months since Chapter 5 released, I don't expect us to get any Deltarune news in a Nintendo Direct until the first one that happens next year at earliest.
Anyone that honestly believes that Chapter 6 will be announced in the upcoming Direct are already setting themselves up for disappointment. Keep your expectations varied and realistic, and you won't be upset with the outcome
Nintendo did it to themselves imo switch 2 costs too much and the games cost too much (And they FOOLISHLY do not even have a second more affordable console like the DS or Gameboy anymore so like. Not going to lie I think a lot of people have gotten checked out because they got priced out.) Of course people are going to be hyped for the thing that cost them 25$ and they have had already for a year lol
Rescue Team and Explorers were so damn good, idk why that series ended up sucking afterwards (been ages but I hated Gates as a kid) but I want to believe we'll see Explorers DX... Someday.
