We got it!

I was taking my baby for a walk and a person had a big dog without a leash and attacked her. She didn’t have any external wounds surprisingly but she sustained a lot of internal bleeding she’s been on liquid iv for atleast 24 hours and she’s very hurt. Please pray for her!

For context, we rescued our Dachshund Maple back in February, she’s 8 months old now. We rescued our Chiweenie/Terrier mix Roo a month ago, she’s around 3 months old.

We debated a second dog for a while but eventually decided that Maple needed someone to play with and keep her company when she is alone. It has been a ton of work, with Maple having a genetic issue requiring us to wait to spay her and Roo coming home with a raging UTI. Moments like the ones pictured remind us why we rescued a second dog!

13 years old and roughly 13 inches tall. Triple that today on his log.

I acquired this sweet girl after her owner could no longer care for her. She’s one. So far, I’m really enjoying her. She’s thin but on a good diet now.

Huey turned four today and had quite the day. Started off with his new squeaky toys in the morning and then we went over to his favorite park. Ended the day with a nice steak (no...I didn't give him the whole thing).

I can't believe how fast the last four years have gone but I'm incredibly lucky to have this little guy in my life.

I get up to get a glass of water and luckily I don’t sit back down with out looking.

I snapped this picture of my old girl when we went to get grocery pickup at HEB. She is always so happy to be part of ANYTHING we do, best dog in the world.
