Feeling betrayed by coinbase !!
This is extremely disappointing, especially from a company the size and reputation of Coinbase. I have been a loyal Coinbase customer since inception and trusted the platform with my hard-earned savings and retirement funds. It is unethical having my funds restricted for approximately eight months without a clear explanation.
Please tell me specifically: What rule, policy, or provision of the Coinbase User Agreement did I violate? I have reviewed the agreement and want Coinbase to identify exactly what I did wrong and what I need to do to resolve the issue.
I am willing to provide any information or documentation required. If my account cannot be unrestricted, then please explain what options I have to access or recover my funds and what I need to do if I want to continue using Coinbase.
It is particularly frustrating that Coinbase classified my formal complaint as “partially upheld” due to poor communication and lack of timely updates, yet concluded that the matter was “resolved and closed.” After eight months of trying multiple channels without a meaningful resolution. This have left me feeling ignored and betrayed by a company i choose by closing other exchanges.
I am simply asking for transparency, a specific explanation, and a clear path to regain access to my funds. Please have someone provide a substantive response rather than another generic statement that my account remains restricted.

Couple formal complaints when the CFPB was still operational got my 5 figure account unlocked after only 16 months. Keep up the good fight. Blast on social media (under an alias)

Was with Coinbase almost 10 years. Had recurring buys set up with them daily for 2-3 years straight. Out of no where told me my account was being closed and gave me 40 days to pull remaining crypto off of their platform. Will never recommend Coinbase to anyone

If no meaningful specific explanations given then that is very bad & unacceptable behaviour on their part ?!! How in all hell can they cultivate customer confidence/trust in their organisation/products with such non-transparent practices !?! Even if there's some 'deep state actors' manipulations in the background as the 'justifications' for such user UN-friendly practices (I don't care what their excuses !) at least there must be transparency to that effect, so that one can know whether it's really their or other players fault really causing such problems !?!!

Eight months without a clear explanation is rough. Since official support is already in the thread, hopefully they can finally give you the exact reason for the restriction and a real path to resolve it.

Not very good impressions of Coinbase based on 'quite a number' of such complaints from the depositors so far ?!? Although so far I've not encountered such nonsense from CB, BUT i do have similar experiences with others like Crypto.com & Kanga !

No because I saw what they were doing years ago and left CB. I highly recommend to everyone who will listen not to use this platform. People swear by CB until it happens to them!

If you are a customer long enough their false positive detection is so bad it will eventually just gank your account. Everyone I know that has had a Coinbase account for years it eventually ends up in this state. I had mine for over 12 years when it happened in my account I basically just did recurring buys with forever.
Something is sketch over there at Coinbase. Sad, it seemed like a trustworthy service and does until they rug you. Truly wild to act this way as a "financial service".
Then all the dips are like "you must have done something" and then it happens to them later and they finally see Coinbase is truly just horrible at what they say they do and do. This is one of the biggest reasons they are seen as having the worst customer support maybe of any service out there.
Coinbase became Conbase. Lame.
