It’s my first Sunday in Texas (weird to type out) and it’s been good so far: a walk in the park near my apartment and then I’ll soak up some sun at the pool.

The humidity is here is no joke and I think it’s worse than in Georgia.

I’m kind of swimming in potential home improvement and life improvement projects that (eventually) all need tackled - fence replacement, interior room painting, replacing aging/broken furniture, downsizing storage bins, clean out garage. So many options it’s tough to know where to begin. Just gotta pick one and dive in I guess.

This is my last day at my first official job, and over the last 3 weeks I've been able to get 2 part time jobs that might be as lucrative as my current job. And I'm starting next week!! I'm SO excited. Less work, same or more pay, less days, and I'll be helping people!!!

TLDR: I need and additional 5-6 people (more is fine) with android devices to sign up as testers. To pass a gate to get my app in the Play Store. You need only share your google play email (DM), I'll add you to the test group and provide a link for you to opt into google play testing, install the app. You open it once, leave it installed for two weeks and that's all you need to do. Of course if you want to actually test and provide feedback it's greatly appreciated.

What' ClutchAlerts? It's an iOS/Android app I'm trying to launch ahead of the upcoming season that provides push alerts when a CFB game meets a specific criteria such as less than 8 minutes in the 4th, a 8pt or less score differential and the trailing team has possession.

For the last 5 years or so I've been running a little script and a discord server so I could be a proper adult with kids on Saturday's and still catch competitive finishes to games without being glued to a scoreboard/tv all day. This year i've evolved it into a native app.

Seattle's newest animal mascot has blown up over the last few days and provided some light-hearted fun for folks. Not sure if we'll see him in the wild since we're a ways outside the city, but it's been fun seeing him be embraced!

A few sessions ago my players ran into a former bandit who was fencing stolen goods while taking care of the orphaned child of his dead friends. One of my players decided to tell the head of the very obviously sinister religious secret police about this guy. In the next session they're going to go by this guy's shop. No killing the kid obviously, but I'm trying to decide if giving the former bandit the Owen and Beru is taking it too far.

Just played two games on CFB 27 and despite all the bitching about in-game microtransactions, it seems like a great upgrade.

Mascot mode was one of the games I played, it was hilarious and was great for the nostalgia.

New year is obviously for the new contracts and conferences taking into effect.

For the second time this week, the smoke detectors in our apartment started going off randomly this morning; the maintenance folks had already replaced them on Tuesday, so now they're looking deeper into what could be causing it.

On a more pleasant note, my wife and I are going to the San Juan Islands this weekend for some relaxation! There's a chance of seeing whales of several varieties along the way, so we're definitely excited for it!

We were given the day off today for resilience. I’m going to spend the day looking for a new dryer because mine decided to shit the bed last night. It still heats up but doesn’t tumble. It’s 25 years old so I’m not sure replacing is the way to go but I hate to get rid of it. They don’t make them like they used to so I’m conflicted.
