At least in my region, the tire centers are all under staffed and over worked. Some are closed several days a week because the staff keeps quitting BECAUSE the conditions are so bad. Its all they can do to barely get the work presented done and regional management insists theres nothing wrong.

Example: online appointments, by design, can set their appointment WHEREVER they want so long as there isnt another online appointment there are the tires are available. Be damned if theres no tech working or they are already booked with other appointments and theyre running everything (phone calls, propane, in person tire sales, installing) by themselves. They've admitted that they ONLY care about the sale. They dont care if the member gets a refund for one reason or another if they got their money for a moment because its goods movement. Never mind wasting the members time, pissing them off, or stressing the techs.

As industry standard, services are booked for a specific amount of time. Installing 4 tires takes 1.5 hours with all the extra stuff techs have to do at the same. But the powers in charge are refusing to allow more time for the additional service they're forcing techs to push (alignments and valve stem replacement). Its "too difficult/expensive" to update how the scheduler works so "learn how to manage it" is their standard response. Ahead of the busy season, some shops are already booked 10+ days out, its only gonna get worse once the snow starts to fly.

AAAALLLL of this and I haven't mentioned THEY CANT TAKE THEIR BREAKS. I know techs who have taken 3-4 lunches in the past 30+ days because they cant. Theres no one to cover the department for them to walk away for 30 minutes or they are booked/double-booked back to back all day and half the appointments have these extra services theyre not allowed extra time to complete.

Please, choose somewhere else or at least be understanding about the wait times.

I recently transferred to another club and requested a day off months ago, the schedule came out for that day and it was neither approved or denied. I asked my manager to give me that day off two weeks before since it still wasn't approved. I've also had issues using my sick time since my transfer. Seems like nobody at my new club listens to the call out line and approves sick time and vacation time. Does anyone else have this same issue?

i went bjs last night and noticed some of the items i
get on a normal basis have gone up? i mean its the economy and literally nothing i can do lol but curious if anyone else has noticed or is it just my club

so last month i requested off for august 30th and september 5th but a month later nothing was approved and by the time the 30th came, still no approval and i had to call out that day. but luckily i told the manager that i’m under that i requested to take september 5th off and he handled it immediately. usually when i request off i’m approved within a couple of weeks but this time it was so weird. i don’t know what’s going on

I dont know if anyone else is having this issue but I cannot shop on their website or the app!! Everything is attempt to add to my cart on either platform shows to be out of stock. I have spent a couple hours on the phone with the tech support. I have deleted the app and re installed, they have had me log out and change my password. None of this has worked. This has no been going on for over 3 weeks. Every couple of days I get an automated message that they have escalated the iss ue and are still working on it. In NO WAY should something of this nature take this long. I am sure they loom at me as just 1 lone customer so who cares. That is a terrible way to treat a loyal customer. I just wanted others to be aware if this happens to you!

I just got hired as an Overnight Stock Clerk Part Time. I was wondering if there was a shift differential for working overnight? And any other additional pay I may benefit from?

For reference, in NC. On the offer of employment it said my rate of pay was $17.00.

I work full time, 6 days a week. So I’m looking for something part time like 7am to around 12-1230pm. Cant work weekends, and I’d have open availability on Wednesdays.

Costco overall has better quality products and better prices than BJ’s.

Sam’s Club also has better prices , more variety than Costco and curbside pickup/ scan and go like BJ’s.

Up until today I was logged into the app for very long periods without needing to constantly log in everytime I used it. Last night I was prompted to log in so I did. Now this morning I'm logged out again and I'm being asked to "verify". Is bjs now yet another place where I need to constantly prove who I am in case someone else is impersonating me to buy affordable ground turkey? I know I sound like an old person yelling at the sky with this but I have had it up to here with this nonsense. I am tired of multiple steps to do simple things and excessive security theater. Sure it's not a huge deal but it's just one more on top of many others and here I am being a cantankerous curmudgeon on reddit lol

If I buy tires online using a family members account, do they check an ID when showing up to the appointment or if I have the membership card with me will I be fine?

I noticed something strange with my recent Express Pay orders. The app shows that a clipped coupon was applied, but the math in the order total doesn’t actually deduct it. The final amount is the same as if the coupon wasn’t used at all.
