Camera Buying Advice What's a good beginner budget camera?
I am looking for a decent quality beginner camera. I'm willing to buy used or new, preferably around $1k or under. If i need to spend more for decent quality, I will!
I would be interested in taking pictures in lower lighting spaces with quite a bit of movement, such as concerts. What would be a good starter camera to look for? What should be the lenses I look for as well? And any tutorial videos I could check out about the camera? And any photo editing apps to get used to before I get the camera? Where's the best place to purchase used cameras?
Essentially, any and all help welcome!
(1) Budget, country, and currency: $1k, USA, usd
(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs? No equipment owned!
(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot?
Concerts, dark lighting, fast moving subjects
(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both? Photography OR both, recommendations for photography only or a good dual use camera would be great!
