I’m planning to start shooting nature videos, photos, and short-form content for social media. This will be my first time doing it seriously, and for now I don’t want to carry a camera, so I’m thinking of getting a good camera phone.

My current budget is around ₹30K, but I can extend it since I’ll be purchasing on EMI. I was initially considering the OPPO Find X9 (around ₹75K), mainly because of its camera/video capabilities, but a lot of people are telling me that spending that much for my first phone dedicated to this purpose doesn’t make sense. They’re suggesting I start with something more affordable and upgrade later if I become serious about it.

Now I’m honestly confused about where I should spend. 😅 I’ve also heard mixed opinions about Vivo’s video quality, so I was considering OPPO.

Could you please suggest a few phones ranging from around ₹30K to maybe an extended budget that you genuinely think would be good for nature photography, video, and Shorts/Reels? I’d really appreciate your advice on what makes sense for a beginner rather than just buying the most expensive option. 🙏

I was using the Morphe version of Xodo, installed and updated through Orion Store.

After updating to Xodo Morphe 11.0, the app now crashes immediately on launch. It doesn't even finish the opening animation before closing.

My device is a Motorola Moto Pad 60 Pro running the Android 16.

The important part is that I had been using Xodo's OCR feature to process PDFs, and then I was using/annotating those processed files. I now cannot find those annotated/OCR PDFs in my normal storage.

I have NOT:

\- uninstalled the app

\- cleared app data

\- cleared the cache

\- factory reset anything

Android currently reports approximately:

\- App data: 2.2 GB

\- Cache: 2.7 GB

I tried accessing the Xodo/Morphe app's "Android/data" directory using FV File Manager + Shizuku, but I couldn't find the annotated files there, only the normal files are there.

I'm afraid to clear the 2 GB cache or data because I don't know whether the OCR/annotation files or some recovery state might be stored there.

What I need to know:

1. Where are annotations stored before/after saving?

2. Could the 2 GB cache contain the missing PDFs or annotation state?

3. Is there a way to recover/extract the files without launching the app?

4. Is it possible to downgrade Morphe/Xodo 11.0 to the previous version without uninstalling and losing app data?

5. Is there a known issue with the 11.0 Morphe build causing immediate crashes?

I really need to recover these annotated PDFs, so I don't want to uninstall or clear data until I know the safest recovery method.

Any developer or someone familiar with the Morphe Xodo build/storage structure would be hugely appreciated.

A couple years ago I bought two of the Samsung USB-C flash drives to store dash cam footage on. I used to be able to view the footage on my MacBook Pro fine but now both of my flash drives will not even show up to view the footage. Same thing happens on my Windows laptop. Are they both just dead?

All the sudden when trying to upload a video to reddit, it only lets me select from Google photos, which I don't even use. When I select the three dots, it only has a settings option, there is no longer a "browse" one. When I click settings it tells me to configure a cloud media to use and the only options are Google photos and "none".

I tried switching it to none and restarting reddit, but it still only pulls from Google photos, even though clicking settings again shows that none is selected. How do I get it back to pulling from my gallery app?

I'm trying to uninstall all YouTube apps on my Google Pixel 9a due to switching to Morphe, but they're quite stubborn and I'm having a hard time removing them.

I tried UAD and now ADBAppControl, but show that the uninstall was a success, at least ADB does, but the log file seems to show conflicting information:

I just bought a Huawei MatePad 11.5. I'm in Brazil, but my location keeps showing up as being in different South American countries, depending on the app. Google Maps and Petal Maps aren't pinpointing my exact location. I also turn off permissions for certain apps and they get turned back on. Like why does my phone app need access to my camera? I do not video chat on it. Or certain apps having location turned back in after I have turned it off.

I will be getting a new phone, new phone number and completely new accounts but in the meantime, what can I do about these weird apps? The option to delete them is just grayed out.

I'm not even being paranoid. The police found a GPS tracker in my vehicle with HIS fingerprints on it, but would not charge him because we were still married so apparently you can track your spouse's vehicle without their consent. he's done shady things before.

As the title says. I've looked everywhere in the app and do not see a way around thi. 'm constantly getting images from one group I need to be in but I can't store all that on my phone and google account.

I've looked in all of the settings. No where. Is there another way to solve this?

Simple goal is to pull the url from generic notification pushed from an application without allowing forcement of fully opening the app. If possible, ideally would be able to even after the app gets disabled or fully uninstalled so long as the notification hasn't been cleared.

I want my status bar to show no matter what, even when running a game. The way it is now if I'm playing a game I have zero way of seeing any notification come because it's default hidden.

I have set custom icons for my apps but some apps don't change automatically, and it is difficult to find different ones from the packs that fit the purpose. All I want is to change the app icon to monochromaric and remove the background. Is there an app for that? I have a Samsung Galaxy S25, but i don't think the phone matters.

So basically yesterday night I was asking google ai for sandbox games and it gave me this game I didn't know that was was 17+ then i tried to download it. and then Google Play asked me to verify that I am 18+ on another Gmail account that wasnt my main Gmail.

And then I freaked out and asked the ai how to bypass the age verification and it said to uninstall updates on Google Play Services and i did just that but it didn't work because I live in texas and the verify screen was still there. And then my device lagged then i opened a new chat on google ai asking what i just did because i thought i deleted Google Play Services and got hacked.

And while i was in the middle of the chat Google Play Services sent me 3 notifications that said "Take Action Immediately" so I clicked the notification 2 minutes after Google Play Services said that and re added the Gmail back which was 1 out of 3 Gmails i had and that Gmail i put back first was my non main Gmail like how I just talked about earlier. Then after that I told my parents to do the age verification and then they helped me with the verification. But then I started talking to the ai again about what happened and it said i uninstalled updates and it showed me how to fix it back to the lastest version.

The ai said to open settings and go to apps and go to Google Play Services in apps and then view in Google Play Store and i updated it back and Google Play Services was on the old version for like 30 minutes before the ai told me how to fix it.

Then I thought I messed up my device even when i fixed the problem and tried to factory reset twice and both factory resets failed thankfully and it just restarted my device instead. Then 1 of my 3 Gmails appeared back after restarting twice and I just had to sign it in to all google stuff. Then I had to sign my third Gmail back in manually and i had to reset the password because I didn't remember it and i added it back but it made me have to do another age verification which my parents helped me with the verification again.

Then i started asking the ai some questions about if my gmails and my passwords were safe during the 30 minutes with the downgraded Google Play Services app and i also talked about where i didnt have a gmail connected for 2 minutes and if my stuff was safe during that before i added the gmail back but the ai explaned it poorly. Then i went to bed also keep in mind that this was before i knew what happened.

Then when it became morning I started asking the ai more questions and about if my Gmails were safe during the 30 minutes Google Play Services was on the outdated version and it said my stuff didn't get hacked it and was safe and it said that Google Play Services works the same even if it was an old version.

then i asked the ai if my device was vulnerable to being hacked when I didn't have a Gmail connected for 2 minutes and it said I was safe. Then I asked the ai if I messed up the automatic downloading and it said if it says remove updates it means the downloading works fine and it also said that it is impossible to accidentally stop auto updates because i am using Galaxy Tab A11+ which is a newer model.

I also found out the reason why it made me need to verify and log into that email it was because I set the age over 18+ and it was also the most recent account i added.

I've been using different hiking apps for years with Apple switching off mobile data and active location sharing whilst using power saving.

3 months ago I switched to android (samsung galaxy s26 ultra) and now all tracking has become useless if I turn off location and turn on powersaving.

I've tried over 10 apps including AllTrails, Locus, Gaia, Strava, organic maps and more and all have the same issue of straight line mapping.

Has anyone managed to find a workaround or find an app that can work properly whilst phone is on powersaving?

i have a samsung a54, no complaints excepttt on google chrome

it does not load any website when i click on it. the searches come up immediately. but the website either take an eternity to load, need multiple refreshes, the format is weird, or they just don't load at all.

i use another phone too, and the same google profile too, everything works fine on its chrome. also, i can't pay from my card on the samsung. my bank app works fine on it, i can transfer money from my app, but it doesn't load the card transfer third party website whatever its called. again, works fine on the other phone

i have tried switching my IP from static to DHCP to back to static. i have uninstalled chrome updates and reinstalled them. but its still not working and its very frustrating to switch phone when I need to use chrome, especially if i have to buy something

Hey guys I've a Xiaomi 12 lite & a Xiaomi 13 lite and I've been having a problem with a notch bar lately especially when using full screen apps like Brave Browser or any other app for that matter, when selecting don't hide on the "Hide Notch" settings and selecting always show notch in settings for brave the notch bar still doesn't disappear and it's still shows it. On the 13 lite it's running the HOS3 version so the "Hide notch" option is removed and only "notch in individual apps" setting is available... Which still doesn't fix it, Is there no fix for it? I searched online and it didn't find anything useful. I don't really want to go through the hassle of flashing a custom ROM so a help would be appreciated! :)

I'm asking because I just downloaded The PlayerPro Music Player App yesterday from The Google Play Store. and I noticed that 7 songs are missing/got deleted from there even though I didn't delete them myself and all of them were there at the beginning then randomly got deleted. Is that normal? Or does that mean that the app itself is corrupted? Should I just delete the app now just to be safe? Has this happened to anyone else before? How many of you are currently using The PlayerPro Music Player App to play all your music files? I had 1,569 songs on The PlayerPro Music Player App now I only have 1,562 songs. I had to clear the cache and data in the app and now everything is back to normal now. Will The PlayerPro Music Player App corrupt all my other music files? Hey everyone. I recently spent some time trying to figure out how to check the exact battery cycle count and hardware health on my Oppo K13. If you are on Android 16, you probably already know that ColorOS has completely locked down the usual methods. The standard ADB commands just give a "Permission denied" error because of new system restrictions.

I found a workaround using a full system bugreport through ADB. It bypasses the shell restrictions and gets you the exact hardware numbers. Here is how you do it if you have a Windows PC.

Step 1: Generate the bugreport Plug your phone into your PC with USB debugging enabled. Open PowerShell and run this command:

adb bugreport oplus_bugreport.zip

This process takes about 2 to 5 minutes to finish, so just let it sit until the zip file is saved to your computer.

Step 2: Extract the files Unzip the oplus_bugreport.zip file into a new folder. Inside, you will find a massive text file called something like bugreport-<model>-<date>.txt. It is usually over 100MB.

Step 3: Search for the cycle count Do not try to open that huge text file in Notepad because it will probably freeze your PC. Instead, use PowerShell to search through it instantly. Open PowerShell in your extracted folder and run this exact command:

Select-String -Path ".\bugreport-*.txt" -Pattern "CYCLE_COUNT" | Select-Object -First 5

Step 4: Read your results The output will spit out a few lines of raw system data. Look closely at the text for these specific values:

• android.os.extra.CYCLE_COUNT= (this number is your total completed charge cycles)
• health= (an Android system code where 2 means your battery health is officially "Good")
• temperature= (this is measured in tenths of a degree, so 334 means 33.4 C)

Hope this helps anyone else trying to track their battery degradation on the newer ColorOS updates. Let me know if this works for your specific model too!
