Hi everyone!

I’m conducting a user research study as part of a UX Research course. This study explores the experiences of adults who have moved to the United States and how they build and maintain social connections and friendships in their new communities.

This questionnaire is for people who:

• Are 18 or older
• Were born outside the United States
• Currently live in the United States
• Moved to the U.S. as an adult
• Moved for work, family, marriage, or another non-educational reason

The questionnaire is completely online and asynchronous and takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. There is no video call or in-person participation required.

Your responses will be used solely for this course research project. You will not be asked to provide sensitive information about your immigration status.

But the moment something goes wrong, good customer service can suddenly become part of the product you're paying for.

I have been both a customer and a driver for door dash off and on for the past 3 years. Today I decided to order me some breakfast from Chic Fil A and requested a no contact delivery. My food was delivered in a timely fashion, but when I went to open the front door to retrieve my food the Dasher was still sitting there in his car. I didn't think anything of it so I just grabbed my food and went back into the house. About 1 min later I received a text from the Dasher saying "No Tip? Whats up? " Again I have been on both sides of Doordash and have done multiple deliveries without receiving tips. I want to report him so bad.

Em 2023,voltamos e ficamos até 2025, em 2024 minha mãe foi diagnósticada com câncer e minha namorada gostaria de comprarmos um AP e na época eu não estava com cabeça para isso, e então terminamos esse ano, e nesse tempo, ela até ficou com outra pessoa novamente, e qual ela me contou sobre. Em julho desse ano conheci uma garota incrível, mesmo tendo sido pelo tinder, ela sempre foi o tipo que eu quis em termos de beleza e intelecto. Recentemente, minha mãe teve uma nova internação e ela me deu um super apoio. E em poucas semanas até me apresentou a família dela e me chama para passar o final de semana na casa dela. O ponto é que nesse final de semana minha ex me mandou uma mensagem querendo me ligar dizendo que ainda me amava e que queria conversar, a questão é que já estou em outro relacionamento.

Devo falar para a minha atual que sobre? Tenho recio de causar alguma insegurança nela. E ainda tenho um pouco de "pena" de falar para minha ex que estou em outra, afinal ela foi a minha primeira namorada, mas não tenho nenhum sentimento mais por ela depois de tudo que ocorreu. enfim Queria dicas.
