Kris and Yomiel share a lot of similarities, don't they?

Before I get into this, let me explain a little about this game. "Ghost Trick" is a game about a ghost who died and only has until sunrise to figure out what happened to him. By dying, he coincidentally got powers of the dead, "ghost tricks." In his case, he can manipulate objects and go back to 4 minutes before someone's death to try and save them. The whole premise of the game is constantly going back in time to save characters while figuring out who you are in a big overarching narrative where everything is connected. It is a truly great game.
If you didn't know, Toby has actively praised this game's writing and concept, so I feel like it's all but confirmed that he took inspiration from it:

With that out of the way, it's time for the actual theory. This will be your spoiler warning. Please play this game on your own. Btw, the theory I wrote assumes that you have played this game, so some parts may be a little confusing if you haven't

I wanted to talk about a parallel between Yomiel and Kris, Sissel and the soul.

Kris is a human who has a different being that controls them, that being the soul. The soul is interesting because nowadays, a lot of the fans assume that, just because they control Kris, they are Kris, which obviously isn't true, especially since Kris has desires and memories of their own, separate from the soul. Kris also actively retaliates against the soul and uses their time to plot behind the soul's back. They are most likely trying to cope or fix the mistake that happened all those years back, when Dess dessapeared. Therefore, they have decided to join the Roaring Knight's side.

Yomiel is also a human, just one that died 10 years ago… Sort of, but that's beside the point. He is the primary antagonist of Ghost Trick and is behind almost everything that happened. Before his identity is fully revealed, he is referred to as the "Manipulator." Sissel is a ghost that assumes that he is Yomiel because he died right next to him. Ghosts can't remember everything, so they go off of their surroundings to understand who they are and how they died. Sissel doesn't have the memories of who or what he was before his death (even though everyone else almost immediately regained most of their memories), but he still assumes the role of the dead man. Sound familiar? The fandom claiming they are Kris, despite knowing nothing about them? Yomiel, just like Kris, actively plotted against everyone. He tried to get everyone either killed or sentenced. And all of that, behind Sissel's back (but he likely just didn't know about Sissel). Yomiel did this to get revenge for what happened 10 years ago. This was seemingly his way of coping with things. But also, he did this so that he would get a new life. An organization from a foreign country had promised him a new life if he went along with their plan. In the end, they ended up betraying him. These facts could easily parallel the relationship between Kris and the roaring gc. While we don't know much about that gc, there's clearly at least a superior in the group that is taking advantage of Kris by blackmailing them: "Don't forget, Kris. You promised." (off-topic, but Kamila says this almost word for word when talking to Sissel at one point. It means nothing, but it's just kinda funny)

I feel like there's no denying that at least a little inspiration was taken from Ghost Trick when it came to Kris, the soul, and their relationship.

I have something to add about the soul. My personal belief is that, after Toby saw how he didn't make a clear enough distinction between Frisk and the soul and how everyone in the Undertale fandom went to blame Frisk/Chara for the genocide route and not themselves, he decided to make the difference much more clear by taking inspiration from Ghost Trick. By making it apparent that Kris and the soul are two different entities

But what could this parallel even mean for Deltarune???? I think I may have found a reason. I am now going into speculation territory, but I'd really like some opinions on this

The way Ghost Trick ended is by Sissel, Jowd, Missile (who actually inspired the annoying dog in ut/dt), and Yomiel going back in time to when it all began. Using their ghost tricks, they prevented the disaster and therefore changed the future. Is it possible that this is loosely how Deltarune might end? There is a soul we haven't seen being used yet. Say, wouldn't it be perfect for the 'patience' soul to have the ability to manipulate time? Patience and time go hand in hand. Maybe that's its whole gimmick?... Wait... Now that I think about it, isn't Sissel's ghost world red? Like the red soul? And isn't Yomiel's ghost world blue? Like patience (or integrity, but we already know the gimmick for that)? Both Sissel and Yomiel have their own souls in the ghost world, just like Kris might've originally had their own soul, one that's different from ours. If this is on purpose, then this would confirm that Kris's original soul might've been the patience soul.

Anyway, I don't really believe this is how it will end, but it's still interesting to think about, and I feel like the connections I've made are very, very real. Back to the parallels, this would also imply that Kris caused the dessapearance (just like Yomiel caused the events of Ghost Trick). It's possible that certain circumstances lead them to do something insane, just like what happened with Yomiel. If you need a reminder, 10 years ago Yomiel was brought into questioning for a crime he didn't commit (but no one knew that for sure at the time). Inspector Cabanela, the one questioning Yomiel, apparently went too hard on him when questioning. Before Cabanela left, he somehow forgot a gun on the table. Yomiel, using that gun, escaped and then held Lynne, the kid in the park, hostage. Detective Jowd held him at gunpoint and then a "Temsik" meteorite fragment hit Yomiel, 'killing' him instantly. If Kris really did cause the dessapearance, then they were probably in the wrong state of mind. Yomiel also gets betrayed by an organization, like I said, so maybe Kris gets betrayed by the knight? I need more ideas

Little off-topic, butI'd really love for Kris to parallel that one moment in chapter 15 of Ghost Trick. To give a little reminder, in chapter 15, if you decide to manipulate an item in Yomiel's line of sight, he outright breaks the fourth wall by looking directly at you and talking to Sissel (technically, Kris already does that when a cutscene ends, as it usually ends with them staring at us, but I wouldn't count that, especially since it may just be another way to inform the player that they have regained control). He talks about how he's in control and whatnot and then kills Cabanela without letting us make a move. Making us feel powerless like that would be awesome. There's another thing, though. He says that he 'doesn't know why Sissel is 'wearing' his face' (because he genuinely didn't, I'm pretty sure). Wouldn't it be cool is Kris did the same, just after the soul had already gotten their vessel back (as the vessel looks like them, obviously)?
Also, there's a funny coincidence (or maybe not a coincidence👀) that I should mention. The 'organization' that I mentioned is actually being run by blue-skinned people and, surprisingly, their skin color is almost identical to Kris's in the dark world. Maybe that means that the roaring gc is actually working with humans that we're unaware of? I'm just kidding... I think

I had a dream about some sort of chapter 3 AU where instead of tenna‘s games being based off the legend of Zelda they were based on pokemon, and all the lightners were trainers and darkners were pokemon. there was pokemon battles, where to spare the enemi you had to catch them so a pacifist would have to catch em all.

Before we start: DESS DIDN’T DO ANYTHING TO EXPLOIT KRIS THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM SAYING DESS LIKES GUYS HER AGE END OF STORY.

Now that that’s out of the way: I think Kris’ relationship with Dess could be very interesting in ways I don’t see too many people consider.

This idea mostly came from the fact that I’m a DessKnighter, and Kris shares many poses with the Knight. If Dess is the Knight, that’d show how much Kris admires Dess, combined with how big of a part Dess was in Kris’ life.

However, I don’t think Kris just admired Dess. I think Dess wanted Kris to grow up to be a person like her. She’s rebellious and unique, and Kris is a very unique person, so I can see Dess wanting Kris to become a similar person. And so, Dess could’ve decided to mold Kris into who she thought they shpuld be. And considering the fact that she probably knows the Prophecy very well (her sister’s a choir singer and Azzy’s heavily religious), I can see her figuring out that Kris is the Cage With Human Soul And Parts. Because who else could be? I can see whatever happened That Day to be related to Dess trying to mold Kris and the end result being her going missing and the trauma that ripples through the whole game.

Now, would Dess do this? I dunno. Most Dess facts are just widely accepted headcanons and interperitations. We don’t even know what color her hair is! Technically anything can go, and only God and Toby knows what will happen next. But I do feel like I’m on the right track, so what do you think?

I should also mention that I was sleep deprived when I had this dream, as I was working on a college essay due for English last night. And my alarm woke me up near the end of my dream.

For me it's that when we meet FRIEND type enemies, they will have corrupted Mew Mew dolls as their tasque manager equivalent. Like liteunants under ERAM. Cause Tasque Managers designs feels pretty parallel to Mew Mew 1's design.

Just as the title says. I still feel like they're stupidly aware of some stuffs, and I'm wondering about it for like 1 min.
