Hi guys. How do I create the effect of light bouncing off glass like in the images?

I am struggling to export the spline correctly into dxf. Splines have always this "connect spline" function. The problem is this only shows the connecting segment in C4d. When exporting as dxf this last connecting segment is always missing. Manually adding this last missing spline segment by drawing this missing piece always activates the "connect spline" function and situation loops back to original problem. How to solve this?

Hi everyone! I created Breathing Garden, a one-hour 4K animation with slow, rhythmic movement and soft piano and ambient music. Created in C4D 2026 and rendered with Redshift.

I wanted it to feel like a little garden breathing—something you can watch to unwind or leave playing in the background while reading, drawing, or taking a quiet break.

Just a fun little sticky note animation I made in C4D

I am animating a trampoline that reacts on collision as if the mat itself was a screen. The problem is I can’t get the animated disc I have for the impact effect to stay on the mat. Please if you have any advice please let me know!

I also tried for a while with particles to no avail but if someone has a solution involving that I am also not opposed. I just need something that shows the effect that there is almost a ripple-like effect from the point of collision that is flat and on the mat.

I've been going crazy for the past 48 hours trying to find information about this, but I still can't figure out how to get to the solution.

Regarding the AOV export for volumetric fog emission on c4d 2026: I need to export it with transparency, but I can't seem to get it to work. Disabling the background hasn't worked either.

Maybe it's simply not possible? Or am I overlooking something?

I have a Displacer Deformer applied to a plane. I want to use a greyscale depth video to deform the plane. When I select the video in the shading tab, it deforms according to the first frame but the deformation doesn't change with each frame of the video.

I've tried changing all the settings in the shader animation tab but it doesn't work. I've tried using an MP4 and MOV as the texture and neither seems to work either.

Any clues? Is it not possible to do this?

Cinema 4D version 2026.3.4 (the latest I believe).

I swear I have done this a thousand times before. But ultimately, I create a Vertex Map, I then attempt to USE that Vertex Map as a mask, aaaaaaaaaand.... C4D just doesn't do anything. Is there something obvious I'm missing here?

I've not got any weird plugins, I haven't faffed with any system settings. This is literally just a bog standard C4D default scene.
